Geraniums do have an odd smell don’t they. I was pondering a bouquet of red roses for mum as she always says they were dad’s favourite (although I don’t recall him saying it), but she’s spent this last summer gardening and I thought a red rose bush would last a lot longer. The Rose is called ‘special dad’ which fits beautifully.
I won’t be MrWW’s favourite person as I missed a post delivery for him because they knocked when I was on a customer call ☹️They’ve taken it back to the depot…sigh! 

You can be our favourite person instead 💖

Good morning and happy Tuesday 📚🍫☕️ Yawn.
Today will be a no spend day. Work was stressful yesterday and I ended up eating bits of chocolate several times to get me through 😖 I really need to start cutting down in everything or there’ll be an explosion. I’m like the blueberry girl in Willy wonka, just less blue 😖
MrWW took a while to work out what parcel hadn’t been delivered, but it was not urgent, so he wasn’t sad and arranged redelivery…let’s hope it’s at a good time 😬 We have a new postie who likes to chat, resulting in the post being 3 hours later than it used to be every day.
I hope you all have lovely days full of minimal work and lots of good things ☕️🍫📚

If you would prefer to be blue may I suggest turning off your heating as in your neck of the woods it wouldn't take long for the cold to do the job 😜
No choc for me yesterday but I did eat two many bags of Burton's  fish and chips and a huge slice of homemade fruitcake all before dinner 😂

Fish and chip crisps don’t last long in this house. I do have plenty of Christmas cake as I’m the only one that eats it and I can take it or leave it most of the time. I did have 2 pieces of Christmas shortbread for breakfast though 🙄

We both love Xmas cake but mine didn't Turn out well this year I need a better recipe. Also I cooked it in the little oven which is our microwave with an oven function (not microwaved obviously) but it's rubbish for cakes. I'm learning how to get round it but I think the Xmas cake needs the big oven to make it work properly.
Shortbread is being scoffed by Mr M_F as I'm not too keen.
