@dawnybabes Sainsbury's had the schar spekulatius biscuits reduced to 15p a box last week. Noting gluten free that tastes nice is every that cheap! I got 18 boxes (my local one had shelves full so I wasn't depriving anyone honest)3

Good morning and happy Thursday 🍫☕️📚
im not planning to spend today. Just work and the usual jobs on the cards.
I was really sad to see on Facebook that Melanie Ham has died. I learnt how to quilt following her tutorials. She was a lovely, bright, bubbly person with a young family. Such a shame. Cancer is such a vile disease.
That was a fabulous bargain @Jellytotts, you should have filled your basket!I hope you all have a tremendous Thursday filled with joy and happiness ☕️📚🍫⭐️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Well, after seeing something on another diary, I have done some future spending. My prime goes out at £7.99 on the 16th and I realised by paying yearly I will save £16.88 every year. I get a lot of use out of prime, the free postage makes it pay for itself and then we use prime video a lot too. So I have taken the money from my pots to pay in one go on the 16th. I have then created a new pot so I will have it in advance for next January. At the moment it has come from ‘the wrong pot’, but I have time to pay that back before it’s due. This is like paying my car insurance in one go (I’ve done that for 2 years now and have a pot), it might not save huge sums, but it’s better in my pocket than theirs and I get a happy feeling from paying something in advance in one go.

I didn't know you could do that with Prime. All the small savings add up. Off to investigate...I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

At one time I had loads of them eating up my wages. Now I have more left over to put in savings (and take back out and feel guilty and put back in)…Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
