Oh I never thought about a murderous monkey 😮 I was presuming the murder was committed by a bird of prey or possibly an otter….if the monkey is evil I’d better go and check the house is locked up tight 😳
I secretly hope the monkey I thought I saw was a pine marten or polecat, but I’ve never managed to get proof or even spot it again 😟

Good morning and happy Friday 🍫🍰🍁🎃
my last day off until Christmas 😭😭😭 I may need to squeeze in an odd flexi day so I don’t die!
Yesterday we were in and still managed to get a missed delivery from the post man 😖 so will pop into town to collect whatever it was (and possibly miss another delivery if we time it wrong 😬). Normally we’d have to request a redelivery, so at least today’s day of freedom allows for a collection. 

I still need to spend nothing until pay day…I think that’s 2 weeks today 😟….it’s going to be a long month! 

Yesterday I made sausage rolls (sausage and apple and sausage and (shudder) stuffing) and apple turnovers with some frozen pastry. I’ve done the sausage rolls many times before, but I winged the apple turnovers and they turned out really good, so I will make them again. So easy with frozen puff pastry, eating apples, butter and a spot of Demerara sugar…and ice cream while they were hot 😋
I could never mess around like that on a work day.

WW - I hope it's not the monkey either.Hope you got all your parcels sorted, I have a few deliveries for eldest dd as she lives in a built up area and doesn't trust the neighbours!! I get quite excited even though they're not for me -  sad really

Good morning and happy Strictly Saturday 💃🏻🍫☕️📚
yesterday we did not manage to collect the parcels…the post office collection counter shuts at 10am on weekdays!! We got there at 10,20 😖. MrWW has gone back this morning. The day was almost like Christmas as MrWW lit the log burner to check it’s ok and we watched movies and ate snacks 😁
My week off has gone very fast and I’m already not looking forward to Monday 😟
I’m not sure what to do today, but it will be an NSD.
Have a spectacular Saturday filled with lots of treats and relaxation 📚☕️🍫🧁
edit…the monkey/beastie had again eaten all the snacks without tripping the camera!

What a mystery! The camera can't be that insensitive. Have you tested it at all to see what might trigger it, for example, would a stick moving in front of it trigger it, and what size of stick? How fast would the stick need to be moving?
Yesterday in front of the log burner for the first time this year, with movies and snacks sounds amazing! I'm holding off on lighting my fire until it gets colder, but the cravings for it are getting stronger!
