    I don’t have children, but when my step daughter was young I would get her mobile top up cards and txt her the number as a treat every now and again (are they even a thing now?), but no way would I have connected anything to a payment method. It’s just so easy for things to go wrong.

    11yo did this Nov 2019. She managed to spend £694. I had locks and things but she saw Daddy typing in my password and remembered it 😱.  Next day I saw 50+ transactions with Google play on my bank account. Thought I'd been hacked. I managed to get the whole lot refunded and put a complaint in to my bank as I felt it should have shown as suspicious activity.  Got £100 out of them.  It's so easy to do and the amount just racks up so fast.

    Gosh @Naomim, you had a very lucky escape there. Thank goodness you’re a daily bank checker!
    I’m not sure what we’ll do today. It’s the first official annual leave day after the bank holiday. MrWW had his birthday present from me delivered yesterday. A reclining chair for his man cave. This morning there was a bit of a paddy as predictably it was accidentally scratched overnight....the culprits are hiding in the bedroom with me perfecting their most innocent whiskery cute expressions while it blows over. Hopefully it won’t ruin the day. I know it’s annoying, but cats...cats happen...always!

    Lol at "whiskery cute expressions". I have throws on my leather sofa and chair because if I don't they become claw sharpeners even though the little horror has a huge cat stand and a sharpening box. The base of my son's divan bed is wrecked completely, also from being a sharpening device. His cat couldn't catch a cold so it's not as though she needs them razor sharp. Is it Mr WW's birthday today?

    We also have scratch towers everywhere, but apparently you can never have enough! These scratches were more running over scratches rather than claw sharpeny ones 🤣
    His birthday is this week, but he was desperate to get it out of the box and set up, then he can be very, very sad on the day because he doesn’t have any presents to open 😬

    All the best people were born in May 😁😉 Mine is two weeks tomorrow. My only present will be one from the HT which I bought myself and will pass to him to wrap. At least it's something that I wanted...... The scratches were probably from the 100mph cat chase then which must take place at least once every day. It seems to be some sort of cat rule.

    @CRANKY40 I beg to differ 🤣
    Make sure your present is an excellent one..or maybe two...and a cake ⭐️
    And yes to the 100mph cat chase, at least one spat and someone being sick (preferably projectile from a high place) at least daily.
