Haha, rookie mistakes! Mine were grammar errors and in a couple of instances words printed twice twice Trouble is it throws my reading rhythm out because I have to re-read the sentence 2 or 3 times. Glad your day off has been approved. It's quite novel 'knowing' somebody who actually goes into work, most people I know still seem to be at home or just bobbing into the office every now and then.

I really wonder if they have proof readers / editors anymore.  Even some of the serious papers that would never have had grammatical errors or words printed twice a few years ago seem to be doing it a lot.  As teafor2 says it makes them very difficult to read.  But then some newsreaders don't seem to speak "proper" any more.  I don't mean accents or dropping letters off the ends of words but actually mispronouncing them.

Oh I don’t ‘go’ in to work @teafor2, I have been home working for a good 16 years now. But it’s every day, generally 8 until 4.30/5 sitting at my desk, no shirking 😁 Because of this, the pandemic had no effect on me personally (or is it affect…I need a proof reader here 🤣).
Errors do make it difficult, you lose your flow and have to do a double take. Even worse in the old days when a cheap copy had random misplaced pages!

Ah my mistake. I assumed the lunch and late Friday meetings were in work. Not that it makes a difference, whoever organises those needs a kick up the butt

Whenever I write up meeting notes and send out a link for attendees to amend if necessary,  I always go back in at a later date to scrutinise them for grammatical errors, especially apostrophe abuse my pet hate 😆

DD says she doesn't need 'mum' to come up on her phone, she'd know by the text it was me because I'm the only person she knows who uses cap letters, full stops, apostrophes etc. I'm with @Sun_Addict for re-checking. I even amend a text if it's not right and with my sausage fingers, let me tell you, that's no easy thing to do!

Good morning and happy Friday..woohoo 🎊⭐️🌺
last day at my desk and then three glorious days off. My next full week off is booked for October, which feels a terribly long way off.
So I fell off the wagon last night…I had already declared a no spend day, but forgot and got some lottery tickets on line 🙄…so today’s NSD will not be declared on the challenge so I can even it up! I didn’t even win, can you believe it? 😦😡
So this weeks spends have been £10…not terrible, but not as good as I’d intended. I don’t have any plans to spend this weekend though. We are planning a lunch out, but MrWW will pay 🙂
it seems such a long time until pay day!
