Today’s lunch was lovely. I managed to clean around the kitchen and fit in some slobbing (spellcheck changed that one to sobbing…must think it’s a work day 😂).
i spent £7.49 on the first 3 of the Sharpe kindles so I can re-read in order as I’ve nearly finished Eagle and had forgotten just how good they were…but I cashed £5.60 out of prolific so that knocked the spend right down 😁

Does the dog sit by the oven sniffing like the Bisto kid when you make a roast? Our cat does and she also starts yowling when it's nearly ready. You've also (thank you) reminded me to liberate something from the freezer to cook for dinner this evening 😊1

Not so much when it’s cooking, but eating it is apparently a group activity. Dog drools more liquid than a large dog should contain and the cats get as close as possible…one of them can’t understand why he can’t share from your plate 🤣Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Our cat tried to steal a piece of ham from Mr SA’s sandwich while he was actually eating it. She tried to hook it out with her claws 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

We recently got a new cat nicknamed furry bum by the boys and she has no interest in our food at all - nothing tempts her 😂. Our old cats were more like dogs. I couldn’t leave meat out to defrost as they ripped the packaging open! We had a lovely roast today too - felt quite mse as we had gammon and I had frozen some home made onion sauce that was left over from last time we had it. 6yr old not impressed he wanted gravy 😂😂3

Good morning and happy ‘day off’ Monday ☺️🌸🍫☕️Yesterday was not a no spend day as I needed to order a new shampoo bar and also a bar of nice soap for the kitchen. I’ve been using bars for a couple of years now to reduce unnecessary plastic packaging. They cost a bit more to buy, but definitely last a lot longer.After the roast dinner yesterday the sad step scales are most definitely broken 😠
I have no idea what to do today…I haven’t even got up properly yet! It’s lovely. I am aiming for a no spend day.

Hope you enjoy your day off. I'd be inclined to stay in my bed surrounded by books and chocolate. I'd consider that a very good way to spend a day off work.
