Good morning and happy Sunday 🌺🌞
the sun is shining (gasp), yes really! I’m not sure how long this rare phenomenon will last…I had to explain to the dog what it was 😬 There is a baby wild bunny just outside my window taking full advantage of it while eating some grass.
I finished the curtains yesterday and they all look fine hung up, although the one I had to create from scraps is definitely more Heath Robinson than Martha Stewart (Stuart?). 

Today I hope to dry washing if the sunshine holds, I’ll take dog for her drive and then will ponder my next quilt project. 

Yesterday was not an NSD as I replaced a book that is falling apart with a kindle version. There are lots in the series (Sharpe) and I want to replace them all eventually as my copies are very well loved and ancient. This is one in the middle, but was on a special 99p offer, instead of the usual £5 +. I think I will wait until I have them all and then read through them in order, so I will keep an eye out for future bargains. 

Today, I hope, will be an NSD! How long til payday? My mantra seems to be ‘next month will be better’. I have high hopes for September 🤣 September will be my turning point…August was rubbish so far!!

Thanks SA. I have deleted most of the passwords and links to my trigger spending today. I have left Prime as that’s a lifeline up here, but everything else has gone, so it will be harder to silly spend! Hopefully the second half of august will be a high point in my monthly run down 😬

Would keeping a note of all your spends help you? Might give you a shock to see where the money is going.

I do keep a note, but haven’t dared total everything up! 

I had my weekly money chat in the car with dog this morning…basically I berate myself for foolishness and dog sleeps or watches the sky. She seems to enjoy it. Maybe next week I’ll be able to praise myself for a week of sensible ness and she’ll stay awake long enough to be impressed. 

Everything always seems necessary at the time 😖 This week will be easier than next as I have some purchases landing this week, so like incoming presents from ‘old me’ 😏

Good Morning and happy Monday 🌸🌺☕️

I was 10 minutes late to work today, which means nothing as I’m on flexi time, but has thrown me out as I pride myself on being logged on and working by 8am. I foolishly thought MrWW would be back at work as he was moving around yesterday, but no, he appears to be taking another day, so hadn’t set the alarm. Then dog slept in so nothing woke me until 20 mins after my usual get up time 😦
Today starts day one of my aim for a full NSD week! I have adjusted all my spreadsheets to reflect my grim start to August, but hopefully that’s a line under it and I’m now the new me (again…the new, new me?).
my new evening hobby is watching frugal people on you tube, much better than spending! 

My car insurance (£230) should come out around the 20th, apart from that, no extra spends are planned. The last of my naughty spending should arrive this week…fentimans and a box of orange twirls today, winter boots tomorrow, Maltesers Thursday or Friday (diet you say?…calorie counting, so room for a little something!). The goodies should set me up for at least a month, unless MrWW gets carried away..but even then, at least until September ⭐️

Happy Monday WW That's a lot of nice treats coming your way this week, hopefully the goodies will help with the NSD's. Frugal vlogs are inspiring, although some of them are a bit too frugal for me, but it's always interesting to see how other people do things isn't it. Have a good day.
