Here's one of my portfolios, over one year (ie since the peak of the turmoil last March), although I would not call the funds held in "low risk", but you can see how the standard "AFI" portfolios (including low risk) have compared:Here it is over 3 years:So your implication that funds are somehow similar to crypto in terms of risk is way off the mark. You seem to be forgetting that the idea when investing is to NOT to sell your funds when they are down. Generally speaking, as long as you stick to a few simple rules (like not selling during a down run, and having a long investing time horizon) most mainstream funds are not risky at all.2

That's phenomenal compared to what you could expect to receive in an ordinary savings (or even in a regular fund)Yes this some risk but with the Crypto bull market continuing it seems mad not to. And to those worried about risk, a Limit sell order takes care of losses if things ever seriously go into reverse gear.Any other stakers out there?Only you know what that means....You're very clever!
Actually most of us know what that means... if you have never heard this then you are lacking in the general knowledge that helps most investors do well.

No, because playing in Ladbroke's is lower risk than what you are doing.

The OP is trying to get rick quickly and he seems to be very worried about money as he has lots of schemes to minimize losses which may or may not work. I've done the opposite, I got rich slowly by saving, buying real estate and investing in tracker funds and now I never have to worry about money again,“So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.”3

Starting to sound like a different language.....
"Bought DOT" = "I handed over real money to a crypto bro and he gave me some tokens""Staking" = "shuffling punters' money around""Interest" = "as long as I don't cash out I get awarded more imaginary tokens""Phenomenal compared to savings accounts and mainstream funds" = "I'm gonna get rich quick bro, why aren't you"6
