You asked if legal action was more likely , eventually you have us the correct name , so it's UK cpm , not CPM , we needed this to answer the legal question ??
The answer is that legal action by 2025 is extremely likely with UK CPM in the frame (within 6 years)
As for the driving licence question , it gives them personal data that they are not entitled to , like the date of birth
Giving strangers the answers to typical security questions can compromise your security , especially if they get hacked , or have a disgruntled employee like Morrisons did3 -
As for the driving licence question , it gives them personal data that they are not entitled to , like the date of birthAnd your photo and your signature. Gold dust for the boys lining up in Calais! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Do you have access to the lease/AST of the person being visited so you can see what the parking requirements are/were for visitors? What it doesn't say is equally imporrtant.
Yes - I can request the info from my friend.
What do mean "one of the charges" ? for what ?
Sorry, bad choice of wording on my part. Not charges, I meant one of the restrictions of the car park they claim I didn't adhere to.

It won't stop crooks using your old one but it does give you a paper trail should anything happen3 -
I will have to return to the car park to see the specific details of signage.
I am quoting from the unsuccessful appeal response i received from UK CPM. I can give the full details of their response if that would be of any use.
With regard to writing to my MP - from what I can find reading around the forum, the key is to relate the circumstances of the incident and to state in the strongest terms how predatory the industry is. Is there anything else to include I am missing?0 -

Forget about the appeals service for UKCPM they are part of a mega scam set up by Gladstones solicitors and THE IPC ?
Understand that right now ALL parking companies are desperate for money, covid is killing them off.
Once you have the full facts then complain to your MP. Some MP's don't have a clue though so be warned3 -

My friend is a freeholder. The only reference to cars and parking comes in this section of land registry
It seems to imply that there is a parking area included in the property that he seems to think could only refer to the space in front of his flat.1 -
He appears to have an unfettered right, as the parking area is included in the property.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
