Is Fairfield the area behind macdonalds, its sort of bounded by the bypass, the school and white Lund so a bit of a shocker.  I was hassled by a group of kids too on the cycle path so put me off the area.

250k would get a nice semi in bare so I suppose you are up against that.  Some go for c250+ or -20 depending on condition and road. Just look at the bare semis that recently sold to get a comparison, sunnyfield at 250, Norwood at 270, albeit torrisholme.  Ask your agent if any of your viewers subsequently bought another.

I 've been looking for a while but a bit picky so happy to wait.

If it doesn't get sold with these current viewings, I  think spending £2k-£3k (guess, maybe its more?) on painting the house and walls would be money really well spent.
I really like the general look of it but all i can  think of on any exterior shot is "that pebbledash looks grim and tired". Hopefully you can find someone who is happy to look beyond that and really its not a difficult job, I am sure getting it painted would have returned much more money in value to the house than the change of lounge door to window or whatever it is you are doing.
That pebbledash is pretty normal for the area.

    People expect that look.

The garden walls could be softened through planting or maybe painting.

It would be like telling people in Aberdeen granite looks dark brighten it up.

Yes, Fairfield is the new (ish) estate between McDonald's and White Lund. There are some nice houses on there dont get me wrong, but area knowledge leads to area snobbery ha ha.

The one on Norwood (which you can practically see from my house,) was a 2 bed semi as well (for 270k!!!) But it was pristine and the guy had done it out really really well.

Good luck with finding somewhere, better to be picky upfront than when you've moved in!!

    Thanks again

I see there is an updated bathroom photo with the ceiling repaired but the original photo is still there as well... 13 and 20.

Good point, but Aberdeen isn`t the best example regarding getting the price you want for a house!
