House Viewings Gone Stale - Opinions Please

Hi All
First time poster here, so please bear with me.
After foolishly viewing a couple of houses before selling, we've had our house on the market for 4-5 weeks now.
The first week or two, we had 4 or 5 viewings, with the standard "lovely house but........" feedback.
Since then, it has gone dead, and I mean no sign of interest/viewings whatsoever.
Last week, we decided to try and gee things up by reducing the price by 3%, but apart from a surge of new clicks on Rightmove, we still await a further viewing.
We understand that the house isn't to everyones taste, but we were honestly expecting more interest than we've had. Bearing in mind, properties round here are selling before hitting the market at the moment!!
Please have a look at the advert below, and advise your thoughts. Please be gentle!!
Thanks in advance

I don't know the area, but just having a quick look at the nearby similar properties there is this one for more than 30k cheaper

Granted its not as nicely done up as yours, but fairly similar in size plus the benefit of a garage.
Got to question whether yours is really worth 30k more.
Again, just an outsiders perspective - I don't know the area at all so I could be way off the mark.1 -
Playing devils advocate yours is the most expensive 3 or 4 bed on rightmove not under offer, and the most one of the most expensive including sold STC. It says you paid £207k in 2019, that's a huge increase in a short space of time.I would also be put off as you haven’t been there long, is there a solid reason for moving?
Other downsides would be; bus stop right outside, fridge in the dining room makes it look like a small kitchen, but those are minor.0 -
I probably don't having anything valid to add but I love the downstairs of your house it's really nice. The table and chairs looks a bit of a odd location but the kitchen and lounge I really like.
I would prefer to see a 1st picture of the gated driveway leading to the house. Taken further back to show the privacy and grandure of the house.
what was the "but" feedback
I always find this description by estate agents as odd.briefly comprises on the ground floor of a modern fitted kitchen, a large dining room with a stunning stone built fireplace and a sizeable lounge also with a stone feature fireplace.

I would agree with you if the houses were on the same (or next) street, however the one on your link is on the other side of the main road into town. This area is a lot more penned in, and less desirable (hopefully not just my opinion) to where we are located.
Appreciate the comment though, and glad you think ours is done up well

Thinks it's probably the sold price from 2019 not helping you out.5

Photos look fine
It is next to a bus stop and there is no hallway or porch the front door opens out to the street. Not much you can do about it but families with young kids will be put off.
The history shows you bought less than 2 years ago and want an extra 80 k which is over 30%. That seems pretty steep to me. The kitchen has been updated but it is not a major renovation0 -
The inside of the house is lovely. The outside is well erm, less so.
I don't know what you can do about it but all of that pebbledash would put me off. It isn't just on the house it is the boundary wall as well. It is just acres of grey.2 -

We used to have the table and chairs on the other side of the wall (in the Lounge,) but we wanted to separate tea time from the tv!! Ha ha
Yes, I fully agree about the driveway, and maybe we need to get that added asap
Feedback we have had has been varied :
Not close enough to local primary school (but its a 15 minute walk!!)
No scope to add extra room downstairs for Playroom (why would you want to?)
Liked house, but not location (fair enough)
Liked house, but not the layout (fair enough)
So I think we are there or thereabouts, but...........0 -
I would not view it as too much concrete grey, the house, the wall, the paths.2

Understand your point, however the house was on at £235k when we bought it, and we were lucky to catch the owner when he just wanted to get it over and done with. See previous advert
www.farrellheyworth.co.uk/details/sale/morecambe/lancaster-road/173893/
Bear in mind, we have spent approximately £30k-£35k on the Garden, new Kitchen, Bathrooms and patio doors, I would like to think we are priced accordingly. However also appreciate that the house is only worth what someone will pay for it
