Pigpen yes I have always done the sticking my head around the door and checking in too. Its tempting when they are older to just leave them to it but as you say they need to know someone is thinking about them.
Natty I know exactly what you mean, I have been feeling a bit out of sorts the last few days too. Work is very stressful at the moment and right now I feel a bit overwhelmed by it. As for not having mental health issues, well I cant ever remember being "normal" so thats two of us!
Narco I listened to that podcast too, really interesting. Walking has become a big part of my life since lockdown but I never manage to get out that early. I would love to try it and see if it makes me sleep better.
Woke up to a thick covering of snow and big fluffy flakes coming down, its melting quickly now. Hoping to get out for a gentle bike ride. Cooked breakfast eaten, DS has been here since Friday so he is now fed and going to play golf. Not sure what else the day brings, work is going to be manic this week so need to get some rest today.
Happy Sunday all x

Afternoon xx
Three of us!!! I never know when the next 'wobble' will come or from which direction.
Laundry shuffle done; and made the bed, fed the birds, filled the birdbath, put out the rubbish and recycling.
So much that I ought to do - but what I'm actually doing is waiting for a double bill of HP to start....3.45 I think. Must check.
Take care

I am starting to think normal and sane IS having mental health issues and it is how we deal with them and acknowledging them and giving them time out of our lives to heal a little before real life drags us back in. The minute we let them win or take over or rule our life that is when we lose control. I have so much control over my head it is life a prison. I am actually scared of myself.Tuesday, when the pests are back to school, I am ringing for a GP appointment. I have a few things I wish to discuss, none will take long but these things need to be said. I will forget something I am sure.. I might start a list, we all love a list!
I need to make Boog and appointment for bloods and I will no doubt be told need one too.. If they have none available I have a new surgery I can call and I will be doing so.
I have repainted Moomins door, just waiting for that to dry and OH is attaching the inside knob. I need one for the landing side still, I do have one but it needs a bit hacking off to make it fit. He can then attach that. I should paint the outside of the door too really while I do the frame. I did cover the dark grey bit in the bathroom with the light grey of the rest of it so that looks nice. It has been driving me mad since we got the new bathroom cabinet!
Tesc0 shop arrived and put away.. now we need to go to Tesc0 to buy cat food, pack up jelly and bread.. though.. I might go to BNM instead.. they sell all those things.
I slept marginally better lest night once I'd had the inhaler, and got comfy.. I decided I have too many arms, they should be retractable or at least fold away and I want to murder my neighbours.. or move. Moving would be wonderful if someone would just move the things and I didn't have to do it.. a nice 3/4 bed bungalow with a pretty garden and space for a big cat pen.. that'll do thanks!
'Eatballs and long pasta for dinner.. darn it.. no pasta sauce.. *adds to list* ..
Love and hugs to all !

Hi all
I was a ball of pent up anxiety earlier so DH agreed to go for a long-ish walk as we decided it was a bit windy and cold for cycling. I dont think he really wanted to go but bless him he knew that I needed to get out and didnt want me to go on my own (although I offered). He left me in charge of route planning so we ended up driving up onto the moors, parking up, and walking 6.7 miles, 1100 ft of climbing. I dont think it was what quite what DH was planning but I feel sooo much better!
Hot bath then veggie chilli for tea. Fire lit and feet up now. DW on, will put a load of washing in before bed ready to hang out first thing.

Evening all x
Ironing done
DG’s visited to collect more paperwork to sort and check on the house.
DH was impressed on my progress there. After that we headed into our local town and I tried to donate lots of old spectacles but they were refused.
I spent 2 hours in our back garden yesterday and prepared an area which I need to get a quote for if we are selling.
I have done a mini clean of my cooker extractor. I have changed the filter paper but it is ood so I need to buy more and do a more thorough job. I need to workout the best product to use on my kitchen cupboards too.7 -
A difficult and emotional night last night, all night and today. DW run and emptied. Actually, DH emptied it, so I can’t even claim credit for that. 2 x bedrooms sort of vacuumed, just to remove the cobwebs. I need to write down to vague attempt at a meal plan that is in my head before I forget it altogether. The freezers are jam packed full, but somehow I have bagged a Mr W slot for Tuesday, mainly for treats chosen by DD. The budget is out of the window already for April, but needs must.
Greenhouse, allotment and seedlings severely neglected.
See you lovely ladies on the new thread x7 -
Walked to church as it was a nice day, clocked it as 4.7km there and back so walked briskly! Had a 'flower' chat with bride's mum so the 3/4 flower ladies know what we have to do for next Sat's wedding.
Watered greenhouse seeds but very cold wind and it hailed later.
Did a bit of a report.
Did some drum practice.
Idled away the rest of the day! Oh, I did place a Mr T order for Saturday as a backup as I'll probably drop in at Mr Al on my way back from uni on Wed as it seems to be very uncrowded and considerably cheaper.
See you all on the new thread, happy week to allRemember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8
