Good evening!
Thanks for the thread Natty, and thanks Valli for last week.
I hope everyone has had a good Easter. I managed to get a good few hours at my allotment on Friday & Saturday. Yesterday Mil & SiL came for a garden visit, so I didn't get down there. Today it was too cold! I am working the rest of the week, so it will have to wait until the weekend now.
Today we have done a meal plan and a food shop, I have vac'd the LR & BR and walked the dog. I then spent a stupid amount of time measuring up the patio doors for blinds and trying to order them, but the site kept crashingWhen I was eventually able to order, I checked with DH re the cost (perfect fit blinds). He was ok, but then mentioned the cat - so I bottled it!! It was a lot of money to spend for the little s*d to ruin them!!
Dinner stuff all washed up, and DW on. Kitchen wiped down. Just catching up on Line of Duty, and I may do some crochet or maybe some admin jobs while the laptop is on....
Hugs to those that need them, especially Fayolle and NMM10 -
NMM sorry to hear about the tests.
Thanks for lists.
A wild windy night so didn't sleep well last night; however as we only did 2 of our lounge circuit training last week, we did one this morning. Followed it as the furniture was back by vacuuming the lounge/diner, hall and kitchen, feeling very virtuous.
Tiny flakes of swirling snow for much of the morning.
Moved a few large bits of wood, old sleepers I think, from far end of garden where they were in the way of my veg patch to in front of the garage where Mr N could cut them up into more manageable chunks and made a beetle pile in a more out of the way part of the garden.
Did final check of latest report and emailed it.
Did a bit of my online course.
In case this all sounds too virtuous, I kept sitting down with Easter eggs, easter biscuits and jigsaw on my tablet....
Thanks for comments on my flowers. The church looked lovely, 4 of us did 2 arrangements each and the service finished with 3 Easter hymns sung outside in the sun amidst the millions of primroses in the church yard.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11 -

Fed cats,
Bins not yet emptied so I filled them up a bit.Wiggled about with the mortgage payments, I need to overpay by £50 a month so I don't have to pay in December. I also have £155 to make up I was short paying last year due to furlough and bank fluff ups. I had to manually pay this months payment because the SO wasn't paid as it fell on a bank holiday.. I thought it would be aid today but nope. I ordered last years annual statement which I have not received yet too.. it gives details on this years payments due so I do need to know if there has been an increase or not.I ate an apple.
I'm waiting for OH to bring the washing down from our room and then I can get the WM swishing and fill the line. It is gloriously sunny here and fairly warm too.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)8 -

Both WM's swishingHalf a wheelie filled before it got emptied
.. binmen usually come about 8am.. today they came late!
2 ebeasty items packaged.. I have a full carrier to post now and 2 more with bids and 1 not yet paid for.I'm not sure what I need to get done today.
I do want to go through another box of ebeasty stuff and list some more. I am struggling to choose a box .. they are all rather buried under stuff which needs putting away.
I need to put things away in my room.Moomins bed coming on the 14th so I have until then to sort bedding. I am very much considering getting rid of some of the girls babyish bedding in favour of plain or the more grown up ones I already have.
WA present for OH arrived.. it is leather for the third so I bought him much needed new shoes, the soles of his are hanging by a thread, he will just have to wait 7 weeks for them haha. Linen next year.. I'm filling little linen bags with seeds for him to grow in the garden, I already decided that. Kind to bees and pretty in my garden! and added bonus of not being in my house!!! I should probably make a list for that.. It's his 40th birthday in July so I need to sort something for that too. He was on about a party but he has no one here to invite other than family who always come and work mates.. and if we go to his mothers he has his small family to invite. I'm thinking of something more special and just us.. I could farm girls out to siblings for a couple of nights. w0wcher usually have some nice looking deals.
