Ah, sorry Round, it was the last croissant.
I have changed bedding, dusted bedroom, hoovered through and taken the dogs for a very cold, very short walk. Now warming up with another cuppa, I plan to only follow Nattys list for the rest of the day.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Thanks for the list Natty, I shall do my very best to stick to it
Some finance planning with DH first thing. I am going to visit my parents and we were going to do a gentle walk but wow its cold out there! Dad can only walk very slowly so it might be too cold for him, we will see.
Thanks for comments about thyroid Pigpen. Given what the docs have said to me so far I dont think I have any chance of being referred to a specialist but I just want someone to listen to me.
Still in PJs, I need to get dressed. I also need to make a mealplan for the week.9 -
Fine now. Snow has almost all gone. Blowy and the footpath is dry so I have pegged out some washing.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Sunny but breezy here today, WM x1 on line drying. Had some results for my OH looks like he has a form of Blood Cancer, don't know how bad or what treatment is needed yet, will keep you posted.
Have a lovely Easter Monday ladies, take care.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:10 -
I've been for a walk - that's two days in a row. Just a very short walk as I am terribly unfit, but a walk nonetheless.
And I've done my good deed for the day - one of the horses in the field down the road is losing its coat ...it's ridden up his/her back, slipped to one side, and he / she is peeping out of it as it's up over his / her ears. He/she came to me and I would have loved to help but I wouldn't know where to start - plus I'm a bit wary of horses (front end bites / back end kicks). So I came home and posted on the village Noticeboard on Facebook and my ex-neighbour's mother in law is contacting the horses' owner to get it sorted.
Lunch next methinks. I skipped breakfast as Jazee had no croissants left, and I'm started to feel peckish. Fishfinger sarnie anyone?

I'm sorry to hear your news Nmm which must be worrying. I hope you get some answers very soon.Layla trundled for a good long walk - blowy and cold, but bright so it was rather nice. Decluttered some more purple sprouting broccoli plants after harvesting their last sprouty bits. Very little more to come but I can't cram any more gardening detritus into that particular bin so I've done as much as I can for now. Decisions taken on specialist recycling which I'm sad about but I really can't have boxes of stuff all over the house for months on end which will then taken me an entire day to ferry all over the city to the various people who collect it. I need to clear the decks here of much more gibble because shuffling stuff is driving me absolutely mad. There are things I want to do with my life and it doesn't feel like I can get on with any of them because of STUFF. Enough with the STUFF.Better is good enough.10

Sorry to hear about your OH's test results, nmm - (((hugs))). We're all here for you any time you want to rant or offload xx
I have caught up with a backlog of reading this morning, also done WMx1 - DH's big heavy dressing gown - and am about to venture into the garden to try and hang it on the whirligig. We had a couple of short sleet showers earlier, but are back to clear blue sky now, though the strong north-easterly wind is very cold. I should have liked to have spent time in the garden today, but i don't think I can stand the chill. If the wind drops, it might be OK later.
One phonecall still to make before I do lunch. Then I have a pint of lovely salmon stock, as well as a few offcuts from the whole fish which I bought and filleted last week, which with very little effort will become posh Thai-style salmon and noodle broth. After lunch Rosie will need a walk, but I have no particular plans for the rest of the day. Tonight's meal will be leftover cheap chicken in some form, as yet undecided.
Catch up later xx8 -

Beautiful and sunny here today and not even that chilly, I'm thinking I might get some washing out. Alas, I have hurt my good hip doing the painting on Saturday so I can barely move today, it was sore yesterday but today is bad!
We went to pick Moomin up yesterday from her BF's.. someone has dumped a horse in their front garden.. there are some right freaky beings round here!
Having a cuppa and then doing nothing! lol

NMM so sorry to read that xxx
Children playing out, it's cold out there but they are wrapped up and I need five minutes alone! I've lit the fire, tidied up after lunch and hoovered some cobwebs away. The green bin is out for collection ready for morning and I have a delicious fish pie defrosting for tea. Off back to read some more of the wombling thread x10 -
