Viewing No Shows!!

Just a moan really!
Why do people book a viewing, confirm they are attending, even agreeing the day before that they are still coming....And NOT show up??!!!
It takes a place away from someone else who would have come and is just seriously bad manners!!
There is a thing called a phone, after all 🙄🙄🙄

Yup - bad maners, and I suppose there is a sense of anonymity to it where they feel they don't have to. Not fair to the seller at all.1

Was the EA open at the time of the viewing?
Could there be something which put them off that's not obvious from the details? Parking? Industrial/ shop next door? Noisy neighbours? (Not saying that's a reason, I'd have viewed anyway.)2024 wins: *must start comping again!*1 -
Nothing to put them off. EA open and even called them when they were late.
Just so frustrating as there was a waiting list of people to view and now that's 2 wasted slots to some inconsiderate *********** 😒😑0 -
Sadly it seems to be part and parcel of selling. They'll prob get labelled as timewasters by the EA before too long. Annoying, yes. Especially if like me you spend an hour getting the house perfect lol.2024 wins: *must start comping again!*4

Well we just viewed a property that was missing 50% of the roof that the agents hadn’t bothered to inform us of. Swings and roundabouts.3

I've done it.
I've turned up early for a viewing, taken one look, thought "Dear lawd, NO", and kept driving.
Would it be more of a time-waste for everybody if I pretended to be interested, and had a tour of the place?2 -
I hope you at least let someone know not to expect you? If not that was really rude.AdrianC said:I've done it.

It would be good etiquette to phone as you drove off 😂AdrianC said:I've done it.

We drive to places before we book a viewing and rule out 95% of them. To book a viewing and then not turn up is plain rude. End of.8
