Thanks all. I’ve now managed to bump the emergency fund back up to 10K so I think that officially seals the deal! September was the first mortgage payment free month.
I’m sure I should feel more excited but there’s still so much I need to save for / think about that I’m not there yet. Maybe I will once I’m able to start ticking off household jobs but we’re a good few years off that feeling, I’m sure.
Now, where do people keep emergency funds? Or rather, where should I?
I need to work out how to keep money pots aside too. I currently have the main savings in one account and my extra money in another. (By extra I mean the £250 I’m challenging myself to make each month via PA / decluttering).
