    So, aAmong the litany of other glaring issues with OPS’s case against me, I now have;

    <SNIP>

    Regards,

    NEVER start a sentence with "SO" it is a conjunction and can be used part way through a sentence but not at the beginning, especially in a formal letter.  Also never finish a formal letter with "regards".  It should be "yours faithfully" if you started with Dear Sir or "yours sincerely" if you addressed it to a named person.

    Thanks, corrected as well :-)

    I will wait for guidance on publishing details of the parking sites before I go back to them. I can't see anything on it that says private or confidential but I'm no expert so don't want to break any laws.

    I also noticed that out of their 16 listed "car parks", only this one and one other seem to have an additional clause between the 2 parties "90% client 10% OPS and £5 per paid PCN."

    This suggests the client is taking 90% of the proceeds doesn't it? I wonder why only these 2 carparks (I suspect it's because it's directly linked to them as they are in bed with the land owners and these 2 are deliberate entrapment zones)

    I assume proceeds wopuld be pay and display revenue, and if qa ticket is issued OPS keep all but £5 of each paid PCN

    Ummmm, I'd certainly consider it but on what grounds specifically, and who exactly?

    So.... SUCCESS! Gladstones have just emailed me advising it has been cancelled! It just goes to show though, I had to do a lot of research, groundwork and be EXTREMELY aggressive towards OPS, Gladstones, the agent and the landowner, threatening them with everything I had in order to get a result. It was worth finding out about all of them and their links though... Thanks to you all here for your advice and help.

    Also, if you need any further help with redacted contracts do let me know, I'd be glad to assist ;-)

    Very true - and with your tenacity you will be a very useful addition to our little team of regulars if you fancy dipping in here to help others grow a pair, sometimes!

     WELL DONE.  another OPS one bites the dust - in fact, didn't get off the ground.
    PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Well, the PPC obviously.  As for the grounds you will need to do some research.

    Thanks all! I'd happily help where needed. And Mr Dance, I'm still not following, I threatened to counter claim for x amount already for wasting my time, but in order to do that, I'd have to invoice them first, but clearly there won't have been an agreement between us. I'm just not sure there are any grounds with which I could force them to respond.
