Thank you for running this month's challenge and what a lovely note to finish on. Have a lovely birthday.

Himself has gone for his hospital appointment and I've already managed to dispose of some unwanted and unusable rubbish.

Hope things go well at the hospital.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

    Thanks for April, DrCarrie!

Today I am grateful for a good walk, for dd having a great day at school, for ticking a gazillion things off my list for the day, for 85% chocolate, for having a car.

Quiet morning. The gate padlock wouldn't close last night so I had vague thoughts of going to town early, doing a drop off at one or two cs, paying money into the bank and buying a new padlock (and maybe some shelf uprights and brackets) but my foot didn't want to go anywhere. been out in the yard, filled 8 x 10 l buckets to move soil somewhere else, pulled up a few weeds and took an exploratory look at the broken bird table and diseased tree stump. Started  couple of saw lines then found I could dig into the stump near the bottom with my trowel - wet and spongy inside. So I've taken down about 3 ' of it (still a bit at the roots but soil will be dug out around it and I think it will come up fairly easily after that). Sawn a few more lines and dug out two bucketfuls of spongy wood with my trowel. More to do but very happy with what I've done.

Grateful for a new month to try again, a good book to read and less screen time. Some of my games were not loading this morning. Saw a notice from another game firm saying that bookface was having software problems and the engineers were aware of it. Went back to my game to see if the reload had succeeded. There was a connection error, reason : bookface init.

Thank you @DrCarrie for April's thread, well done on the payrise & congrats to dgf.

Well I've ended on 16nsd, bought a few bits in the supermarket today, to last us until big shop Monday. Spent a lovely few hours at a friend's house, whilst hubby was at the hospital. She gave me lunch too & a box of chocs & some cans of cocktails to show she's been thinking of me these past few weeks.

Grateful for you lovely lot, hubby doing so well & great friends.

Hugs to you all, see you in May (let's hope it's a better month for us all) !

    Hello Turtles,

I haven't done well this month, mum has been ill and I have been dragging myself through the days. Money wise I haven't saved enough and yet again am facing a tight month.

Big love to you all, so sorry I haven't kept up XXX
    Nevertheless she persisted.
