Under whose letterhead is the LBA written? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Have I been duped again?! This one says it's "being sent in accordance with the Pre-Action Protocol for debt claims". OK, I know it's them saying that so I should take that with a pinch of salt, but it includes an Information Sheet and Reply Form. Its wording also has certainty, as I was advised to look out for earlier in this thread... "We will be commencing..." etc, so it really and truly looks to me like an actual LBC. But I'll be very happy to be mistaken!0

NPE don't file their own claims. That's looking like a LBC but court action will not follow. They are lying to frighten you.
If they pass it to a solicitor it may go to a claim later, but this won't.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

NPE don't have a Legal Department!
Please don't just go away from the forum though, because you might get a court claim to defend at some point, from a solicitor.
We sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Government Public Consultation?
Please don't leave us just yet.
We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £60 or £70 'admin fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA and roboclaim 'legals' gaslighting of people.
Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Consultation:
If you are not a regular reader, to be alerted you'll need to bookmark the thread by MSE_JC at the top of the forum and enable (on your profile) email alerts for bookmarked threads.
Then join us when the Consultation opens. Should be within weeks, hopefully.

Bookmarked. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
And I'm not going anywhere, I'll be hanging around (as I am anyway albeit with a different username), and certainly straight back to refresh my memory with the steps necessary if and when an actual court claim comes through.1
