Get well soon Mr Ionafan.More moving of plants today. I think I'm going to put some out on the pavement with a Free sign on them. How many small pots of mint does one household need?Better is good enough.9

I got engrossed in Escape to the Chateau, so didn't zzz!
I have spoken directly to DH, who says he has plumbing coming out in all directions and is being pumped full of antibiotics and fluids. Fortunately his Covid test was negative, so he will be moved up to the High Dependency Unit as soon as a bed becomes available and expects to stay there for at least 48 hours - that will give me time to get some sleep and make a significant hole in the pile of work that is cluttering up my brain..
Had a chat with NNDN and phoned DSis-i-L. Washing #3 is on the line and #4 will be joining it before Rosie and I go out for our walk. But I need to finish this mug of coffee first.

Hi all
Get well vibes for DH Ionafan. Disturbed night here as NDN had friends around and they were making a lot of noise at 4am. This is the second time this has happened in the last couple of months, hope its not going to become a habit.
Have met up with SIL and walked and chatted which was lovely. I feel like I need to do something productive this afternoon, so I am going to make a cake for DHs packup and might defrost the freezer which desperately needs doing.
Planning a long walk tomorrow on my own, might be brave and head out across the moors. The week is flying by!9 -
I was intending to fly indoors but the garden won. Back to paid stuff now though.
Glad you've had an update on DH Ionafan.Spend less now, work less later.9 -

I’m a bit behind with reading the thread.
birds fed, recycling taken out
Long post
This morning I decided to do some shredding this morning but first thought I would dust DS2 China cabinet. He has ammi bos and Lego models in there. When empty I realised there was a Halloween scene behind it of webs. I moved it out and used glass cleaner to make it sparkle. Had to dust all the figures too. I then decided to paint that corner whilst the cabinet was pulled out. Then this lead to painting several more small walls. The clean cabinet lead me to the shelves of doom. I’m on my third shelf so far. I still haven’t refilled the cabinet.
DH just came home and said he had found a parcel on the doorstep. It was some beautiful flylady flowers. Thank you so much. I will take a photo when they have had a drink. They fit perfectly in my new to me vase. xx

DM how lovely. Flyladies really are wonderful.
Work was so busy I realised at 3pm I hadn’t been for a wee all day! Home, dinner cooked, DW on, WM on, early night for the children and a small wine for me xx10 -
Havoc here today, starts with unblocking of the dish washer, it seems the filter had not been put back incorrectly.Made a coffee cake, it rose up and went over the tin, then when I took it out of the oven it sunk, so sort of like a volcano, then a volcano with a crater in it.............I'm told it tastes ok!
scones also made and they were ok

Kaz I made a cake and scones too, I think my scones were a bit underdone but DH says they are nice.
And Pigpen anything that captured me would soon let me go I think! I will make sure that DH knows where I am going. In all seriousness we should have one of those tracker apps on our phones because I do go walking and cycling on my own a bit.
I have defrosted both freezers which was a boring but necessary job, and made stir fry for tea. Watching rubbish on telly now, I should really do some yoga.10 -
Evening all!
Had a busy few days, so just caught up with all the news...sorry to hear hubby is poorly Ionafan - fingers crossed he makes a swift recovery xxx
Yorkie - a tracking device is essential - DH's cousin was found in a snowstorm on Snowdon, as he had one. I dread to think of the outcome had he not.
I've made, prepped and filled 6 raised borders and planted three crowns of rhubarb, with the help of my good friend Sal. I ache all over now, which totally shows how unfit I am. Potatoes have chitted, so they can now go out. My kitchen garden continues apace
Flying was restricted to the basics again. I've got a tonne of ironing to do, but my days have been so busy and by this time in the evening I CBA. Need to make an effort with it tomorrow. Got a mother and son pooch day boarding tomorrow (different owners) I wonder if they will remember each other?
Washing up can wait until the morning (I know, I'm lazy, but not much else to do at 6am, other than bottle feed Minty)
Hugs all round - TTFN x11
