Morning all,
Lots of good wishes to your DH Iona, and to you as well lovely lady xx
The grass had its first mow of the year yesterday and looks much better for it. We had a day of reflection in class, it was so sad and melancholy I felt quite flat. Asda delivered last night, I was tempted to leave it all in the hall to put away this morning, very glad I did it though! I'm about to strip the bedding as a dry day is forecast. I must get an earlier night tonight as I feel a cold coming on.
Take care all xx9 -
Thank you Narc0, Valli and asb xxx
Unfortunately DH was getting worse yesterday rather than better, and was clearly unwell when I woke at 5.00 today. I took his temp 3 times and it just kept going up, so at 6.45 I rang 111. They sent an ambulance, which has taken him off to horse piddle with suspected pneumonia. DH doesn't do things by halves! I have messaged my children and my boss. I'm not panicking, just grateful that he is going to get the treatment he clearly needs. Looks like the rest of the week will be somewhat quieter than usual.
I started the WM full of towels at 6.00, so I will strip DH's bed, do WMx2 more (hoping the slight drizzle stops soon) and try to clean all through. Then I have more videos to film and letters to send. But first I am going to cook myself a bacon butty to keep my strength up.10 -

Morning all
GWS wishes for the poorlies and hugs for anyone in need x
Im at work so minimal flying, dailies have been done, bedroom aired, en-suite swished over and wm x 2 done, 2nd load is towels and rain is forecast so I’ve just flung that in the TD, other load is on the airer, house is not looking too bad as we’ve both been confined to our offices so not able to mess it up lol!
Dh gave the front lawn a mow last night, it’s looking better, back one seems to grow slower for some reason and it’s still a bit soggy in places so that can wait.Ok, cuppa is now made, I should get back to my desk.. byeeeee!8 -
Many thanks for good wishes for my DH and me. No word from the horse piddle yet - I'll give them another hour. His phone is packed right at the bottom of his bag, so I doubt that he will ring me first.
In the meantime I have had my bacon butty with fried tomatoes on a freshly cooked sourdough roll(TG for part-baked bread), cleaned all through downstairs; cleaned the windows in the DR and kitchen (for which I need the small stepladder) but not those in the LR and DH's BR (for which I don't); and hung out WMx2, with #3 twirling and #4 waiting. Now I need a cuppa and a rest before starting anything that requires even a modicum of brainwork. I shall set the alarm before I plonk myself down on the sofa and gawp at daytime TV, which usually sends me off to sleep.
