Dot having hysteria over her cardigan so was unceremoniously placed in the car.. at which point I observed the fairly new neighbours had decided overnight that the tree outside my house was anice place to put their stinking rubbish.. it is now nestled in their front garden.. I'm not having this again I only just stopped the last filthy lot.Cats fed.. apple snaffledI appear to have rage today.. this is going to be fun. Oh joy.. it appears OH wants an argument too... We don't argue.. he sulks and I rage..
Dot screamed all they to and into school.. Lord help them. She wants a 2 days school week and a 5 day weekend.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)10 -
Morning all. I fell into bed at 9.45 last night, woke up at midnight to find I'd fallen asleep with the bedside light and my Kindle both still on, rearranged my pillows, and then slept until 6.00 this morning. Why was I so tired?????
I will be in as much as I can this week, but I have a lot of work-work to do, which has to be the priority. The house is almost tidy and almost clean, so I'm just aiming to keep it that way with minimal flying. But I will try to keep up with the thread - it moves so fast!
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed xxx10 -
round.. We have a hairy 8 legged elephant sized arachnid running around in our room too.. Percy found it but it escaped before he could eat it.. so it may have a few missing tentacles but it still lives!
OH back from school.. hiding in the kicthen..
I did a bit of a cupboard shuffling and reported the grotty neighbours to the council.. and found the environmental health woman who deals with it on the street fb group.. it's nice knowing she is there but I am trying to keep her name out of it.. I typed her first name (Karen) and it tried tagging her.. oops!

Quick update from me before collecting Small and Tiny from school.
Kitchen is 85% done - need to sweep and mop the floor, but otherwise, I'm pleased. Dining room just needs a few bits and bobs put away properly instead of being abandoned on the dining table and/or dresser and/or buffet sideboard and/or side table! It's not rocket science, but my lot seem incapable of opening doors or drawers!
Still to do: feed the goats, third feed of the day for Minty the lamb, collect eggs from all the coops, wheelbarrow layer pellets and corn around to different feeders, make second batch of flavoured Greek style yogurt - 3 litres currently straining through cheesecloth, a bit of ironing and I might cook a roast chicken dinner.
Also need to mend DHs jeans as he ripped the @rse out of them over the weekend. I'm cross as this will mean eating into my stash of denim offcuts I'm saving up to make a patchwork quilt with!
Catch up again later x10 -
Evening ladies,
I woke up after a restless night in the wrong frame of mind, so didn't get much done before work. Since getting home I have cooked and eaten dinner, hung one load of washing out and put another load on, poo picked, decluttered the kitchen and book shelf in a rage - 3 bags ready to take to a friend at work tomorrow - put the recycling bin out, damp dusted the bedroom, deep cleaned the woodburner and hoovered downstairs. Friend has taken pity on me and is walking the dog tomorrow, I just have too little time at home at the moment, dailies are hard work!I've also taken the plunge and booked for the living room and bedroom carpets to be professionally cleaned, they really really need it, spot cleaning just doesn't touch it anymore.I have also done an Asda order for delivery tomorrow of cupboard basics. Cheap delivery was 9-10pm so I've gone for that, although it's well past my bedtime! I'm going to put the chickens to bed shortly, then the children, then make packed lunches, then have a small beer to reward my post work flying.Piggers I hope you're okay. Not sure if you saw the pic I put on the previous thread, PM me if you want to xx
Dizzy lovely to see you. If you have any duck eggs ready to incubate ASB cottage would love some.
Enjoy your evenings all xx10 -
thanks for lists.
- Kitchen tidied, washing up done and put away, several appliances wiped, floor swept.
- There was a '4 week plan to get fitter' in the paper at the weekend so Mr N and I have decided to do it. We're opposite in lockdown (or most times) - I eat too much and get bigger; he has little appetite and loses muscle easier. Anyway it is a fairly routine 14-exercise circuit-training type, 2 x 45 seconds on each one. We plan to do it 3 x per week and started this morning.
- Zoom meeting with friend/colleague
- did more of a report
- finalised Mr T order and booked the next
- tried to ring govt body who pays for my workplace student's lessons; no reply so sent them an email as they appear to have paid Feb's money but not Dec or Jan.
- checked greenhouse. Seeds doing well.
- went to dentist, give me that any day in preference to a doctor.
-That's about it.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11 -
Morning flying friends. I Hope everyone is well. Hugs to those that need them.
