Hi sorry yes meant my defence. Just had a notice of allocation to the small claims track letter, with a date and time. I’ve just not had time to take pictures that is really late at night and friend has been useless. Is this my WS now and do I have to print everything off or can it be shown on a laptop. Thanks

Also do I have to pay this 25 pound fee on top of the other fine fees if I don’t win?

Both of you get that letter , the claimant needs to follow the orders on it , not you

If you lost in Court , the claimant can claim the court fees and legal fees , typically £25 + £25 + £50 = £100 , or less , plus the original PCN fee if no more than £100 , so a typical loss in court is £200 or so

If an order is aimed at you as a defendant , not Claimant , then you must follow the instructions on the order

Manchester is a graveyard for parking companies

Ps , read the back too , it should mention when the WS plus Exhibits should be submitted by , typically 2 weeks before , so end of July

As above, flipping heck don’t pay the claimants fee for them!

The NEWBIES thread tells you what to do and when.  If you have a hearing date then you are at witness statement stage. The best recent WS Example is the one posted last month by @jrhys so click on his username and read his replies to find and adapt that.

I found the Land Registry plan on Stockport Council's Planning website by searching for SK7 1PA.

The landowner of 34,36,38,40-42 Woodford Road and all of the layby is D R E Group Ltd, company no 05332710.

Ok that’s great yes just had a good read of it. So I’m looking at paying 200? If I loose? Need to get on my witness statement now, was meant to start it a while ago but didn’t have the time. Also do I have to print two copies one for claimant and one for court? Or can these all be sent by email?

So the same person owns the land they are claiming for I assume? 34/38. Just confused to why it’s just them two they are claiming against, but the pay machine  and ticket sign is outside the bank which would be 42/40. All confusing. Thank you for finding that!

Haha I won’t! I will check that out in a sec. yes hearing date is 12 of August. It says: each party must deliver to the other party and to the court office copies of all documents which they intend to reply on. I’m assuming this is WS and that’s when I have to get it in!? Do I send this as a email or as printed papers to the claimant? I can’t see where it says to send them.

Those documents you intend to rely on are your Witness Statement, all your evidence and a Summary Costs Schedule.

You send all that to both the Court Office and to CEL by the date mentioned.

    Email is fine.

Email addresses for both are easily found.
