@CLJ2986 the problem is, the van is booked for 09:00, say an 60-90 minutes to load it, then it's  60 - 90 minutes to get to the new house, so I either get someone to go unload everything and hover around her until lunch time ish, so the worst is done by the time we get back, then take him onto the induction. Just so stressful (and typical!), I'm hoping they can offer literally ANY other date, as I really struggle with changing plans last minute when why're already in my head! Plus also think the little one may be slightly confused going straight from his last day at nursery to his first visit at school, new house, new town etc, seems like a lot for a little one to take on in one day! x

Mine was a week from the valuation to the offer being issued. Positive news!

Thank you, we don't want to get too excited but it is so nice for things to be moving and daring to feel a bit more positive

Well thats our offer just through! Yesterday was a flurry of activity with our broker escalating within Aldermore, which seemed to be successful as the offer landed at 10am. Such a relief!
    27/05 - Application sent
08/06 - Ask for additional information
14/06 - Ask for additional information
16/06 - Formal escalation as family will be homeless mid July!
    17/06 - Offer through
We're in Scotland so home report was available instead of needing a valuation as part of this process.

@afscot Congrats on the offer and well done by your broker to escalate it. Aldermore underwriters sometimes get into a never ending loop of additional queries, often pointless and poorly described.
And their document upload system is like a black hole, you can upload multiple documents against a requirement, but there is no way for the broker to see what was uploaded and when, except for the very last one.
