I've emailed my solicitor again. I just want to know what stage we are at! Apparently my file was on her desk last Thursday. Is it unreasonable to think they should have looked at it by now?! Such a slow frustrating process!
If mine didn't get back to me I would be calling, I know the Aldermore delays aren't their fault, but you gave them the go ahead a long time ago x
No response today. I'll make my weekly phone call Thursday lol
Haha, what time is your weekly call?
I'm emailing at lunchtime, I already know it'll be 11th or 18th :D but just need to book whichever day off work to pick up the keys!x

I'll call Thursday morning I think. Then maybe they will actually do something with it Thursday! I feel like we should be talking dates now!

I know most completions are done on a Friday, so maybe worth calling today? Just thinking if it's tomorrow they may be tying up loose ends ready for completions on a Friday? Just a suggestion :) x

I think I find this solicitor bit more stressful than the mortgage bit!
I've got removal company quotes but they are all getting booked up and I have no confirmed dates which is driving me crazy.

i think it is in some ways, because you know it's definitely happening now, but you just don't know when.
I've only just started with removal van quotes, we're moving 62 miles so can't imagine it'll be a price I'm going to like to see, but hey ho! x

Get your ea chasing them, mines just called to say he's spoken to both my vendor and my solicitor and he's going to push it for mid June 🙂 he didn't realise we had rental notice to give so he understands why we are chasing now. Feeling much happier lol

I’m with you on this!🙈 Some days I’m really relaxed and other days I’m ready to pop! We have been told we have just started the longest part of the process which is sorting the title deeds!? Just happy something is being processed!😁

Another update - thye've suggested 18th, I've said I'd prefer 11th, but will accept 18th, he's going  back to them with that - but worst case we'll be looking at 18th June :D
I haven't signed the contract, I've just put pressure on for a date, I assume the exchange will come soon after we have a date agreed.
Put some pressure on! It's worked for me! I've really pushed about giving notice here and not wanting the extra expense etc, the same applies to
You must be so happy getting a date - not long now!!👍🏻👍🏻
