I guess when they say 5 day timeline for underwriting that doesn't include the wait for them actually assessing the documents!0

Oh I thought that's what it meant 🤣 my broker said on Tuesday that they were currently on a five day turnaround. Which I knew as I refresh their page as often as my emails 🤣Reddington85 said:I guess when they say 5 day timeline for underwriting that doesn't include the wait for them actually assessing the documents!0 -
The fact I'm not even at valuation/underwriting stage is stressing me out hugely - I'm gonna be a wreck for stage 2CLJ2986 said:

When did your app go in? I can't keep track so apologies if you've already said. I'm not sure they actually let brokers know the valuation has been booked so might be worth asking them to check? Mine were told when it was instructed but my estate agents told me the day.Reddington85 said:

It went in on the 17th April but the original DIP was referred and approved in a day. I don't think it's been instructed as I've asked for a quote to upgrade to the Homebuyer survey with Aldermores valuers (as it's an older property) who will apparantly contact me directly.CLJ2986 said:

Well my partner had a phone call from the surveyor this morning telling him they will be there shortly. He promptly told them he’s the buyer!🤣🤣 they laughed!!🙈🙈
He panicked then thinking they wouldn’t be able to do the survey so messaged the surveyor an hour later and they said it was all complete!!! A big fat sigh of relief!!🤣🤣
@CLJ2986
are you going to chase today?🙏🏻@Reddington85
keep yourself busy, honestly!🤣 it’s all we have been speaking about!🤪0 -
My app went in on 10th March, and was sent for valuation on 24th, so I think 2 weeks is about average @Reddington85 your valuation should be coming soon!
@mandycurl at least you know it's definitely happening!!
@CLJ2986 YES! CHASE! Ask for a copy of the valuation for your records and slyly ask if there's an update! I'm literally checking constantly for your updates!

@Reddington85
our valuation was requested 20th April, so approx 3 weeks from full application. Valuation today 29th.
@JMcc123
Yeah, very lucky! How’s the conveyancing going? Have you relaxed a bit now the offer is in? Please say yes!🤣0 -
See I fell really lucky with my valuation falling the day after it was booked, it was surveyor based at the opposite end of the country, so guessing they just happened to be in the area?mandycurl said:@Reddington85

Much calmer, thank goodness! Still not loving all the waiting! My broker told me to hold off paying the solicitors until I'd received my offer, which I'm kicking myself for now! We go away on 28th June, so my plan is to move in before then.. but hoping to just get the keys asap to make it 'home' x0
