Yep! Broker finally emailed me just now and I've paid their fee so it's all over to my solicitor now! Who have emailed to.say they have the offer but a search is outstanding and not due back until 18th May so a while to go yet 🤣 how's it going with yours?

Honestly from every post I've read I'd be super shocked if anyone got declined after valuation. It seems they do most of the underwrite before the valuation so unless the valuation doesn't match up I think its looking good!

Ah excellent! Yeah all good, hoping to complete the end of May. All searches are back. They weren't due back until today, but we got them last week, so fingers crossed you might get it back sooner! No enquiries raised from the searches but 1 or 2 from something else (no idea what) so we're handing our notice in on Saturday on our rental. I feel quite lucky with how its going at the minute, but still nervous something is going to go wrong. X

@mandycurl haha I did the same thing, you're not alone! There's so little on aldermore that I was reading the bluestone thread and all sorts 🤣 

@Brucema07 hopefully. I just don't want to give rental notice before we exchange but I also don't want to have a rent and mortgage payment to make in the same month 🤣

I know, me neither but solicitors and EA said its fine and we can stay with family if we have to so I'm going for it haha. I refuse to pay another month's rent. The landladys being awful about us leaving as it is x
