Another user of 1p mobile for 3 years now, if the line doesn't use data or you have a dual sim mobile is great. Also if you start to build a lot of credit you could exchange it to extend the expiry date.
I'm not sure I understand how that would work???

At least before I left they gave you the option of using your credit to extend the expiry date of your line if you have more than 20 pounds in credit.

I had an email from 1pmobile today and they have changed the T@C's.
Min top -up is £2.50 pm and if you don't use that much they take the balance from your credit if you have any.

I will have to have another look at the email but if you google 1pmobile on trustpilot it does not look good.

    1. TOP-UP REQUIREMENT
      1. In order to remain a customer, you must top-up your 1pMobile phone/account with at least £10 once every 120 days (4 months) with effect from the Commencement Date.
      2. If you fail to top-up by the next top-up due date (which is shown in your account area),
        1. we will close your 1pMobile account,
        2. your mobile number will be disconnected,
        3. and any unused credit will be lost.
        4. If you have ported a mobile number to us then the number will be returned to the issuing network provider and may not be retrievable.
      3. The current minimum topup is £10.
Don't look to have changed yet?

I do use 1p and, as yet, received nothing from them re any changes to Ts and Cs.

Change is coming though - from October 1st 2021 evidently, according to the link:

Thanks or the links. I will, no doubt, receive something from them soon about these changes?
I do have some rolled over credit, so unless I am mistaken (usually I am!), any sum above the call charges I have incurred less than £2.50 will be deducted from the balance. i.e. charges £1.50, they will take a further £1 from the balance?
Time to review my options methinks.

    Your welcome.

That is the way i am reading it also.

My dad is with 1p and has £70 of credit but he uses it for when he is out of the house, 2FA from banks and he does use it call abroad once a month so it is very handy for him.

I would of thought what 1p are doing is nearly "illegal" but then they maybe in financial trouble and are wanting peoples credit back without the customers using it up.

Or are 1p the new "Symbio" ?
