I thought I had 2Gb of data for the month, BUT, if I had used 2Gb on the PAYG rate of 9p times 2000mb...
    That's 180 quid!
Add VAT around £200 pounds thank you sir, we'll take it from your bank account!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Not what you said earlier

I got on to Lebara chat and they said I had I had dropped off the plan, and was on PAYG rates, at 9p per Mb, so on the hotspot, they let it run up the the credit limit £10, and then cut me off!
    110Mb @9p !
I suspect you'd NOT set up auto renew (of the 2GB bundle, for £x per 30 days) AND had set auto topup which Lebara kindly fix at a maximum of £10 per 'month/30days' by default.

An issue if you don't keep on top of what you sign up for, nor check the MyLebara dashboard properly?  Also, why did you not realise no monthly/30 day payments weren't taken from you payment account all that time?

My Lebara sim came with the MSE blagged offer and has auto renew on by default and auto topup off. It may have been different when you got yours? but otherwise it seems odd that this happened.

Let us know how you get on with it, I'm just behind you in the sign up process.
    Hi SaveMeDo
My mobile number has transfered over today to 1p mobile and everything is up and running OK.
    I'm well happy 😊

    Hi jessmist
Sadly my sign up didn't go so well, password didn't work and had to get the chat people to sort it out.
When I got up and running, very poor signal and low quality voice.
Already used 1/2 hour phoning the hospital, waiting on the carousel, and no I didn't get through!
Still on the upside, it only cost 30p!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Three would have cost me £3.00 for the same amount of time.
So, IF (big if) you can get a good signal, this is really good, but I personally will have to keep looking...

So EE network is no good where you are.

O2 and Vodafone are the only others two.  Asda now uses Vodafone at  4p/4p/4p recently announced https://mobile.asda.com/bundles
O2 eBay sims on their legacy 3-2-1 rate are available, too.

You know 3 works so it's their payg rates or a £5 a month bundle from someone like Smarty to use Three?.

    Hi Rodders
Yes, Vodafone is the only one that penetrates the entire flat, if you will forgive the expression. Their mast is the furthest away from me to, but I think they work on a frequency that penetrates better.
Someone, built a massive mast about a mile away, in Prestwich  I think it must have been O2 group, it looks like a moonshot rocket.
I'll have to get some more sims and see what works.

    Hi jessmist
Yeah, but it is handy to have anyway, and very cheap rates, it will get used up eventually
    Hi Rodders53
I have just order the Lebara 5gb deal through MSE, and yes, it was my fault that I altered the dashboard.
With Vodafone, I can sit in comfort at my desk or on the settee and use the phone. All the other sim's I have tried, I have to stand at the window.
Lesson learned though, I won't be messing around with the Lebara dashboard again.

Another user of 1p mobile for 3 years now, if the line doesn't use data or you have a dual sim mobile is great. Also if you start to build a lot of credit you could exchange it to extend the expiry date.

I've just ordered a 1pMobile SIM for a van tracker. I think the tracker will use only about 30mb a month of data meaning my expense floor is the £10 every 120days (or £2.50 a month/£30 a year). I will monitor the data usage over the first 120days and I am well covered with the £10 initial credit even if data use is 8x more than the 30mb.
If after 120days the usage is only 30mb a month what is the best SIM to go to? Can any other SIM get under £2.50 a month?
    Thx
PS network has to be 2G, so for example any 3 SIMs are no good (that's what I use in my family's handsets).

You can still get o2 Classic sims on eBay, data is also 1p a MB and there is no minimum spend.
