Pigpen that's a tough one, I am not sure what I would do but I suppose the little one's safety is more important than anything.
Well done on the exam results ASB, that must be the rewarding part of a tough job.
I am struggling with my mornings without DS1, I wake up stupidly early thinking he has slept in as I havent heard him get up, then I remember he is not here, then I doze restlessly for a bit longer and wake up feeling groggy. Anyhow, weights class done first thing, paid stuff, 2 loads of washing out, 6.8 mile walk with DS2, back to cook tea, sort washing and then an evening meeting and a little yoga.
Bedtime now. The utility room floor is filthy but it can wait.10

Evening all. Today my car had its service and passed its MOT, phew!
Apart from - and including - that, it has been a stressful day and I am worn out tonight. DH didn't get up until 9.30 and has been a grump all day. It took me an hour to set up a standing order because my bank kept refusing to pay into my building society account - then I discovered that I needed to give my BS account number again as the reference number. I also spent about an hour trying to email to DD several video clips of DGS1+2 riding their bikes without stabilisers (years ago), that she had left on the netbook when she returned it to me, but they were too big for her email to accept them. In the end I sent screenshots of the folder contents, and she has just confirmed that they also have the videos on their main computer, so I can delete all of them and there's no need for me to post a memory stick. Hopefully I can say goodbye to that frog tomorrow - I just need to work out how to change administrators on the netbook and delete their separate logins, leaving just me in charge
I did manage to hoover the floors upstairs, clean the 2 sets of bedroom windows and dust my bedroom, but I never got round to dusting in the study bedroom. I hoovered the kitchen, but then the bagless thingy ran out of charge before I could do the LR or utility. I also cleaned the ensuite, bathroom and other downstairs loo and did WMx3. Not bad, actually, when I see it written down.
Oh, and my tomato seeds are starting to come up, I have lots of sweet peas waving their shoots at me (I've now stuck them out in the mini greenhouse) and the geranium cuttings are beginning to root in water. I might even spend half an hour in the garden tomorrow...
G'night all, hope not to see you in the WAC xx9

            Morning xx
I was in the WAC for a couple of hours then fell asleep and had a weird dream. Woke up at 20 to 7 and sooooo wanted to roll over and go back to sleep. But the boiler man is coming between 8 and 1 so I daren't overlay. Grumbling that he had better arrive nearer 8 than 1. I am up, dressed, opened windows in DS bedroom (where the boiler is), made my bed, fed the birds, put out the recycling, brought in the (already been emptied) garden waste bin, sorted the washing, set WM swishing and made a brew. I may have peaked early
Glad to hear that your car passed its MOT ionafan xx
That must be very satisfying asb xx
6.8 miles!!!! YL My to do list includes buying a pair of comfortable shoes so that I can start walking. I swear that my feet have grown. A size 7 used to be a perfect fit but now it squashes my big toes. Not conducive to walking far! My fave shoes have had it - both big toes have pushed through the leather....at least they are comfortable now. My to do list includes buying a pair of comfortable shoes so that I can start walking. Breakfast next. Need to find something to do that allows me to hear someone knock at the door - I loathe waiting for people to arrive, but I'm actually no longer mortified at having to let them through the door. That's progress.
 Right it's 8 o'clock - come on mister lol.

Thank you for doing sentry duty, round - I slept through until 7:00, so feeling a lot more with-it this morning.
Good luck to dancemum today - we're all rooting for you. And well done with all your clearance work.
 My plan for today:
 - Finish off more bits of admin early, before the sun comes round and chases me away from my desk.
 - Hoover and dust the LR
 - Food shopping
 - Rosie's walk
 - Continue tidying up the garden
Off to get my second cuppa and then tackle the church bank statements. Have a good day, all xx

            Morning all x
Early start for me. Took DH to work then went to DG’s to put wheelie bin out. Did a quick edit of her instruction books as it her green bin this week. Wiped up the bleach I had put on the marks left by a toilet frame on the non slip floor. It hasn’t made a difference. Any advice welcome.
I have wiped my car interior with baby wipes as it is suffering from being a commuting car for a woodworker.
Now to jump in the bath and make myself look employable. I have to swop handbags and gather everything together. Interview is 2pm :eek positive vibes required as my voice has been known to turn into a squeak during such times.

Massive posivibes heading your way, Dancemum.Really pleased with the progress I made yesterday, and also very grateful for the support you've all given me over the past few weeks. I unexpectedly fell asleep watching Glenda Jackson giving her Elizabeth 1 twice last night which suprised me so I'm going to pick an easier job today - sorting and decluttering my email account. I've had it for about twenty years ago and there's stuff in there I need to keep and frankly I'd rather keep it on Virgin's servers than clutter up my computer, but there's also a huge amount of junk I don't need. So, that's what's getting sorted today because I'm tired of feeling that tired at the end of the day and it's a job that badly needs doing. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to delete thousands of them as well, always a satisfying feeling.Layla needs a walk this morning but she's struggling to do the mile route I favour every day, so we're doing a shorter one. I'm a bit worried about her but she may just be pulling a fast one. She's due what should be her final blood test at the end of the month so that'll show up any problems so I'm not anxious to get her seen again before then. Then I'll see if I can make Cornish pasties for us tonight. I've got beef skirt, swede and potato, plus some homemade pastry from the freezer so it shouldn't be too complicated. I don't know why I thought I should do this when I bought the skirt because we've got two exceptionally good pasty shops within 100 yards of the house. Still, the freezer's a few things lighter and there's not much else I want to do with the swede we got in the Lidl veg box last week.Better is good enough.9
