Today has been lovely. We did a five mile walk earlier, as we have no wood left the kids went chumping and now the fire is roaring 😊
I also baked a chocolate fudge cake, some Yorkshire puds and tidied round a bit. DD has asked for a school dinner tomorrow, suspect she is getting bored of the same types of packed lunch each day but she’s quite fussy. When DS starts packed lunches he eats anything so will be easier. I’ve told her at £2.50 per day it’s a one off, the meals at my high school are the same price and much bigger portions!
I am after a knitted headband / ear warmer type thing, looked on Etsy and they are silly money, learning to knit is very much on my list. See you all on the new thread xx

What type are you looking at? I am sure I could manage one.. if it means I can skive out of house clearance The Etsy fees are massive so prices reflect that.Deleted_User said:I am after a knitted headband / ear warmer type thing, looked on Etsy and they are silly money, learning to knit is very much on my list. I have had a huge freezer clearout and gave a lot away on fb .. 4 sodabread anyone? lol... 7 bags of long grain rice?? I have some piping bags.. new l@kel@nd ones to fling and some pampered chef cutters.. some pans to go in the shed for whoever moves out next and 2 clean cupboards. The cake tin cupboard was utterly grim..Tin of paint went to the shed.
2 loads of folded laundry went up the stais to be put away.
I shall vacuum the stairs while OH eats and then get the droopies to bed!

Piggers that is very kind, seriously anything that is a headband style which would cover my ears, I hate wearing hats when walking/gardening but my ears get so cold! I am completely not fussy at all, but I don’t want to add to your workload xx9

Thank you round, I haven't felt half as bad today as I did yesterday. I can cope with one painful shoulder at a time, but not two!
I had a lazy morning but managed a few bits and pieces this afternoon:
- did some work work IYSWIM
- mowed the lawn
- took Rosie for her walk
- chatted to our NNDN
- backed up my computer files
- phoned DS2
- moaned at DH (who had taken himself out to the common for a slow amble on the flat) for treading dry mud off his walking boots all over the hallway yet again - I had cleared up one lot yesterday; plonked the Dy$0n in front of him and let him deal with it
- cooked risotto for tea
(((Hugs))) to Fayolle, dancemum and everyone else in need xx
See you all on the new thread.
