Morning all
Back to work for me today, but not DH, he has a list ;-)) dailies done, wm set to swish, DH has gone out to run errands, I had nearly 200 emails after 2 days off... eeek, fortunately not too many actions for me in them, so I am almost sorted with them, just having a restorative cuppa and a bit of cake after being in the WAC again.En suite has had a swish over and I did the main bathroom yesterday evening so I’m ahead of the listy, it’s likely to be a long day so that might be the extent of my flying....
Have a good one, hugs, sticks, spoons available as needed x9 -
15 plain / fruit scones and 15 cheese & chives scones made, a pineapple upside down cake / pudding is now cooking it needs 45 mins which seems too long to me, so I'm keeping a close eye on it.Hearing aid batteries it seems I can just rock up and knock on the door and wait out side while they sort them.It is now chucking it down with rain big time, so I might go by car.Love the mule flinging Pigpen!

Thank you Piggers xx
My technology didn't like your GIF which is disappointing. Your 'persuasion' worked though. Round 1 completed and Level 1 started. I attacked the basin with Pink Stuff but that didn't touch the surface so I've left it soaking in H@rp!c. That'll gaffer it.
I'm guessing PS is better for s&s than deep clean?

Dealing with the remainders of yesterday's paper flingage. I need to go through the files I'm keeping again to date them all before they can go back up to the attic. All the document wallets I don't need to keep are now on Gumtree, along with a dog basket and some 4" plastic pots to keep the breadmaker I put on there a week or so ago company. If they don't sell after a month they can go to a CS.Today isn't anything like as much hard work as yesterday. I was completely shattered last night because of all the decisions that needed to be made so today's a sort of rest day before deciding what else I'm going to target next. There's an awful lot of bedding up in the attic for one reason or another. Last time I had a clear out when we sold the chalet I had the pillows and duvets all washed and then donated them to a women's refuge. By 11.30 pm that night it was all in use for a mum and three kids newly arrived in the city. That felt rather good.Better is good enough.9

Not a very productive day here, but not going to beat myself up about it.
WM is on again
I know what I'm going to teach tomorrow to most people, one just needs finalising
Had a walk with DH at lunchtime
Long chat to friend
Book reading instead of sorting8 -

The plastic boxes arrived - in 2 of these boxes!! 3 small children fit in one box easily 😂 I can hear lots of giggles 😁
The sorting will have to wait until tomorrow, assuming I am not working. The sibling's leg/ankle is broken in 4 places & needs pinning at the Royal London, so I may be needed tomorrow as well 🙁
DH is not going to be happy when he gets in and sees the 2nd big box in the hallway!! Oh well 😂9 -
Lovely photo GI x
Along with refreshing my IT skills I have deleted 15,657 emails and played cat Hokey Cokey

I'm in a quandary.. A couple of families moved into 2 houses a couple of doors up from me.. and again today I witnessed their 3 year old (judging by size and motor development) playing in the road on a tricycle.. There were adults outside with him but both had their backs to him as he tootled into the road and I directed a car around him.. I'd feel terrible if anything happened and I had done nothing but I'm not sure what to do. Honestly I want to report it but am concerned about looking like a crazy person or them them wailing we are racist.. I don't give a toss where they are from (they are Romanian I believe) but the childs safety does worry me.
OH has cleaned Sarah.. and I have been popping up and down the stairs like a crazy person all afternoon peeking in on Moomin .. and Boog.. and achieved very little. I am helicopter parenting my adult children. *ashamed*
DD1 is now saving up for Spamalam an ASD assessment.. so after our holiday that is my next helping out savings.

Honey bear I wish you were nearer, I am in the market for a bread maker! X
Long long day done. Very proud as some of my year 13 students did an exam in January and got their results today, lots of distinctions 🥳🥳🥳. Came home, collected children, walked the dog, planted ten raspberry canes, made dinner, FUPA clean washing, made packed lunches, made dinner... oh you get the gist. It's the same every day! It's chilly tonight so we all have hot water bottles. I am going to snuggle down with my book and a cuppa. Sleep well all xx11
