I would not offer "If you need any more data from me to confirm my identity....." as they will use it as a way of delaying your data.  They only need a copy of your V5C (with the correct address on it) and maybe a copy of any correspondence they sent to you.  If you have moved and they have an incorrect address, you should send a data rectification notice informing them of the updated address for service, requiring them to erase your old address and to inform all and any of their agents and sub-contractors of same.
I would not bother telling Gladstones that you have submitted a SAR to the PPC, the pre-action protocol for debt claims is all you need to cite.

None of this stuff needs to go in the NEWBIES thread whilst the Code of Practice isn't implemented yet. That's why I didn't (and clearly I was right not to, due to the blip of the delay).

If you look at the NEWBIES thread it doesn't mention the new DLUHC CoP at all. It will in the end.

To learn the current state of play newbies have to read more widely, as you have.

I was not expecting you to remove anything.  Just re-word it. You could add:

Whilst it is known that the rogue industry you represent threw their toys out of the pram and have delayed the new Code of Practice, there is no reason to think the Government's view will significantly change about adding unconscionable costs that were not incurred and simply exist as a mechanism to enhance already-doubled parking charges, and to side-step the £50 legal fees cap set in the Small Clams Track.

So I sent the SAR request to Euro Parking Services and this is the email I got in response:

    Hi,

I am now on maternity leave. With limited access to my emails.

    Kind Regards

Is that the response you received when you emailed dpo@europarkingservices.com?

    Truly amazing.

    Hi guys.

It’s been over 30 days and I haven’t heard anything from Euro Parking Services or from Gladstones.

Is there anything I should do?

Thanks Coupon-mad. Is there a template anywhere for doing that? If not what kind of information should I include?
