I am so unhappy at work I really don't think I can take much more. It is making me miserable and I just feel like I am permanently unhappy. It is spilling over into my home life as work is always on my mind and I just feel like we are both suffering.
I am ebaying like crazy to try to pay this debt off sooner as I think that if I didn't owe my mum so much money I would have left by now. I am also actively looking for another job as it would be more sensible to leave once I have a job to go to.
At least it is Friday tomorrow so I just need to survive 1 more day and then weekend off :j Nearly 2 days of happiness as when it gets to Sunday afternoon I will start to feel down as I will be working Monday. I just can't carry on like this for much longer.LBM 14/12/06 £21,947.17 DEBT FREE 12/04/09

I joined Betfair yesterday through Quidco and already have £50 cashbacked tracked. I did have to deposit and play £10 but still that is £40 profit and if my horse wins today I could be quids in :T But I know very little about racing and picked by the cutest name! :rotfl: Still if it comes in the odds were very high so it would be a nice windfall. Well, that'sif it manages to finish the race :rotfl:

Now I spoke to a lady at the council tax at the begining of the year about my payments and I was told that as my payments come out on the 9th of the month and you need 10 days legally to start taking payments then my council tax year runs from May - February. So I explained that it shows April - January in my bill, as it did last year when the money was taken May - February, and the lady repeated in a condesending tone that they need 10 days leagally to change payment amounts and as my payments are taken on the 9th my year will start in May when my payment is taken. So I said, "OK," as it was all I could muster whilst biting down on my tongue so I didn't let her know that her tone left a lot to be desired. So, I didn't budget for it this month as the lovely lady told me it wouldn't be coming out until May, but when I checked my online banking Council Tax had been paid, £95.02  and now I am into my overdraft and will need to be doing some mad ebaying today to make up for it.
I have been doing extra hours at work, unfortunately as I hate the place, but I don't get paid until 25th April so I need a short term solution to my overdraft problem. On the plus side there can't be any surprises next month (knock on wood!) so I can throw any extra money at the debt. :A
Well, I must dash now and get on with my ebaying and hope to make my fortune, as I didn't win the lottery! :rotfl:I WILL BE A GOOD MiSEr TODAY :money:LBM 14/12/06 £21,947.17 DEBT FREE 12/04/09

I have been doing extra hours at work  and some have been 6.45am starts, which I am not used to, and I am starting to get very tired now. I have even been doing an extra day and I think I need to time off to myself so I can rest. I must think of the extra money and paying my debts off quicker.
I have also been carrying on with ebay but I have not really done as much as I would like so I need to get motivated with that and clear some of the [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] treasures from under the stairs before they start taking over the house!
Any advice is greatly received as I am sure there is more I could be doing.LBM 14/12/06 £21,947.17 DEBT FREE 12/04/09

 I am so unhappy at work I hate it so much. I find it a struggle just to get myself motivated to go in. I am actively looking for a new job but with my health issues and the lack of anything inspiring it is proving very hard. I may just give up looking for the perfect job and take anything as that would be better than me just giving up my current job with no where else to go. And if I have another day like today then I can see mself either just walking out or giving in my notice. I know everyone has bad days but this has been a bad 6 weeks and it just seems to be getting worse. End of rant!!!
I am off to do some ebaying now and maybe find some hidden treasure and make my fortune, failing that there is always the lottery :rotfl:
I must be a better MiSEr and pay off my debt sooner rather than later.
Any advice or words of encouragement are greatly received :money:LBM 14/12/06 £21,947.17 DEBT FREE 12/04/09

I feel that my life is spiraling out of control and I didn't know where else to go. I feel my OH is getting sick of me moping about and I don't want to push him away any further. I am miserable at work and he tells me I should leave if it making me feel so bad but there would obviously be massive repercussions. Please click on link and help me regarding work, it explains more about what has been happening at work and how I have been feeling

I am not sure if it is just work though and I do feel like I am getting so far down I may never come back up. I am at the Drs tomorrow though so hopefully he will be able to suggest something. I just feel that there has been far too much going on at the moment and it is too much all at once.
I am going to start getting more focused and am definately going to make a plan for my future. I was looking online yetserday about home study and it made me feel happy like I had more to look forward to than working then coming home, sleeping and getting up and starting again. Please take a look at my home study thread any advise would be welcomed

I will be doing some ebaying today in preperation for the 5p day on Thursday and hopefully that will keep me occupied enough not to dwell on anything. I also really need to get focused on moving all the boxes that are taking over the house:o

Hi Saver, just wanted to send you some hugs, I think you're doing the right thing taking a few days off and doing other things, and I hope everything goes well at the doctor's tomorrow. It's hard to say what the best thing to do re work would be, when you've got a lot of other stresses it can be difficult to deal with a bad work situation. Only you can tell if it's worth sticking with it but I think it's definitely a good idea to be looking for something else, even if you do decide to stay where you are, it's good to have other options and after all we do spend a large amount of our time in work so it's worth trying to find something which is at the very least bearable, and at the best, enjoyable.
It sounds like the home study would be really helpful for you as well - I'd recommend OU, and make sure you look into their financial help section as you might get courses paid for - or a local college class. It's definitely good to have something else to focus on other than work. If you're not sure what you want to study, the OU has some free materials on http://openlearn.open.ac.uk/ which might give you some ideas (and are quite interesting in general anyway).
Talk to your friends/ family/ OH about how you're feeling if you can, and most of all, take care of yourself xDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
