We have had some changes so here goes:
Outgoings
RENT £425
ISA £300 (birthdays, holidays, Christmas and pay off debts sooner)
MOBILE £30 (can claim cashback so will work out at £1.99 a month)
VIRGIN £30 (broadband, tv and phone)
WATER £16.98
CONTENTS INSURANCE £21.86 (just changed cheapest I could find)
GAS £20 (hopefully as it is winter so no central heating)
ELECTRIC £30
FOOD £120 (2 adults, 1 cat also cleaning products and toiletries)
SAVING STAMPS £10 (for Christmas)
COUNCIL TAX £91
TV LICENCE £11.63
MUM LOAN £500
OH FOOTBALL £20 (an average of 2 matches a month)
HAIR £19.46 approx. (have it cut every 6 weeks and coloured every 12)
MISC. £100 (just a buffer)
TOTAL £1745.93
Incomes
OH £1450
ME £606.66 (approx. as I get paid every 4 weeks and sometimes I do extra hours)
TOTAL £2056.66
Difference £310.73 ???? (I can only assume this is when we buy 'bits' like the lottery or a takeout etc.
This is just an average budget as I work out a more complex budget when we know exactly what we will spend each month. My plan is to work out my budget each month and then any extra give it to my mum to pay more off the debt.
The landlord came around yesterday so we could sign the new lease and he has put the rent up by £15 per month but he did say we don't have to keep the prepayment card meters for the gas and electric so I will be shopping around online to get the best deal. He is also going to get us a new boiler fitted he said a combi boiler would be best. So hopefully we will be saving some money there as in winter we were putting £50 a month on the gas and we only had the heating on for 2 hours a day  We have already noticed a change in the gas now the weather is nicer as we have used about £10 over a 3 week period which is a vast improvement.
I am still carrying on with my ebaying and I have a few auctions finishing today and they are at £210.63 at the moment and I am hoping they will go up in the last hour.
On a money saving note we are going out for lunch with my OHs family to celebrate his dad's retirement so we will be getting a free meal, as they say every little helps :rotfl:

I cannot wait to go on holiday and get away it all. I just want to have 2 weeks of bliss and recharge the batteries. Then when we get back I will start to plan the rest of my life and more importantly concentrate on paying my debt off.
I am still making the most of my time off and doing a lot of ebaying. It is very exciting watching all the bids go up and also creating more space at home.
I also hand washed my bras this morning as there was not enough whites to warrant putting on the washing machine. So I saved on electricity and also washing powder and fabric conditioner as I used soda crystals. :A
I'm going to my friend's house tomorrow night and she is providing the food and drink so I will be quids in :rotfl:
Any advice is greatly received as I am sure I am not on track to pay off my debts by 30 as I only have 16 payments left and at the rate I am going it will take me 29 :eek:LBM 14/12/06 £21,947.17 DEBT FREE 12/04/09

Well, I am liking this windy weather as it is drying things very quickly but it's hard getting things to stay on the line and we have used all the pegs :rotfl:
I am ebaying again today so I can clear more space as it feels like my [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] treasures are taking over the house. We have about 20 boxes full of stuff so still have a bif of a way to go but I can't throw anything out, much to my OH's annoyance, as I feel it would be like throwing money away! :rotfl:
Only 13 days until our holiday, Cyprus here we come! We are taking £2000 for 2 weeks for both of us and we are self catering. I always say I would rather have too much than too little and we can always bring some back, and hopefully we will.
I am back at the Drs on Wednesday and I am starting to feel a lot better but I wonder if that's is because I am not in work and will I start to feel bad again if I go back? I am getting SSP and company sick pay so I am coming out with roughly the same as I would be except I am able to work more on ebay so am making a lot more on there. What to do
Well I must dash as ebay is calling and I want to get as much as I possibly can on there before I go away. :A

I cannot wait to go on holiday a change of scene will do me good I think and also the weather here is miserable.
I went to Drs today and he has signed me off for another week. I am going to make the most of my time off ebaying again and I will be making the most of the half price listing day on Thursday :A After Thursday I will be scheduling my auctions to start for 10 days on the Thursday before we come back on the Monday :A as I am really into watching the boxes go down!
I am not happy with this weather as it is a bit wet and wild here  I have just put some washing in, on 30 of course, but unfortunately it cannot go on the washing line so my house will look like a Chinese Laundry as I will not put the dryer on!
Well must dash as unfortunately my goodies won't list themselves!LBM 14/12/06 £21,947.17 DEBT FREE 12/04/09

Can't believe it is the Race for Life tomorrow  I am so unprepared I may just end up walking it! I also need to conserve my energy as I am going to the Girls Aloud concert in the evening and I want to be able to boogie :rotfl:
I have been quite busy today have been doing my usual clicks and surveys but also started to do some competitions so fingers crossed.
:j As of tomorrow only 1 week until we go to Cyprus :T I cannot wait to get away and we have been discussing our excursions and we have decided to try to organise them ourselves instead of paying the reps marked up prices :A I also hope to bring some money back with us but I don't really want to sacrifice our enjoyment so we will be sensible and look out for the best deals. Also, what gets me i the OH will shop in Netto on holiday but he won't set foot in one over here
Well must dash need to chillout and get an early night so I am fresh for my 5k run :eek:LBM 14/12/06 £21,947.17 DEBT FREE 12/04/09

I did the Race for Life yesterday and I got soaked through  also my legs and feet are sore today. I think it was dancing at the Girls Aloud concert that finished me off :rotfl:
I have not really got a lot done today as I am far too tired but I did do a load of washing on 30 and I have got some on the line and the rest on the clothes horse :A Also, done my daily clicks and surveys so at least I have done a bit.
6 days until Cyprus :j a chance for a big blow out, well a money saving one, before we come back and get really serious about becoming debt free.
Someone please post as I feel that I am talking to myself :rotfl:LBM 14/12/06 £21,947.17 DEBT FREE 12/04/09

Hello stranger! Just came across your posts! Congratulations on doing the Race for Life - did you run it? Also did you see that crazy friend of mine?
I've read all your thread and I'm very impressed with what you have been doing. You've inspired me to do some ebaying. Its great when the price is going up as the auction comes to an end. Hope you have a fab holiday - you definately sound like you deserve it. I go in 6 weeks and then I'm going to start being good with my money. I'll keep reading your thread for inspiration.
BTW, I've missed seeing you at your usual place of work. A certain little boy was asking where Noddy was the other day - ha ha!!0 -
Hi Jillybobs thanks for posting was begining to get lonely!!
I ran a bit walked a bit as I was totally unprepared and running all the way was not an option, especially as there are hills! It was me, Nic, Bev and some people from Nic's work met us there. David also came and was our morale support.
I will be doing some ebaying today and scheduling it to start on the Thursday before I return on the Sunday. Ebay is a great place to make some extra money and to get rid of the clutter that you have not used for a while. I also find it keeps me out of trouble :rotfl: eg. shopping on the internet!
I am seeing the Dr tomorrow so will see what he says about work. Can't imagine he will send me back before my holiday as I go on Sunday :j 5 days!
I am disappointed that Quidco seem to have removed ebay but I have joined topcashback as it seems to still be there, for the time being anyway. I also looked into my accounts and this is what is in them as of today: :A
Quidco £243.60 (tracked, pending etc.)
Onepoll £8.70
Pigsback £5.17
I am also entering lots of competitions so fingers crossed with those.
I am off to ebay now and clear some more space and hopefully make some money.LBM 14/12/06 £21,947.17 DEBT FREE 12/04/09

I cannot believe it is holiday time already as it seemed forever away when we booked it! I am a bit unsure of how much money to take to the airport though as we will be there 3 hours before the flight and will probably want some food. OH looked at me like I was mad when I suggeted taking a packed lunch as apparently his holiday starts in the airport! We will be there at 4pm so I am thinking of cooking a BIG mean before we go and then we should only need a snack.
I am a bit  with myself as I have not done any ebaing for a while. My intention is to schedule it so it starts just before we come back but, to be honest, I just haven't been bothering
I have been doing clicks, surveys, free bingo and competitions so at least that is something.LBM 14/12/06 £21,947.17 DEBT FREE 12/04/09

I am feeling a bit down today and I am not sure why. We are off to Cyprus tomorow for 2 weeks so I should be happy and excited but instead I am sad and nervous
I hope I get it all out of my system before we go as I don't want to feel like this while we are on holiday and I don't want to ruin it for OH.
I am also annoyed with myself as I have not scheduled anything to start on ebay just before we return  it's a bit late to start now as we have SO SO SO much to do before we go. At the moment I am sorting out my ipod as I :heartsmil my music and I find it takes my mind of my travel sickness and also my fear of flying. I am so special! :rotfl:
I hope that this holiday will give me a chance to forget everything that has been bad recently and give me a chance to chill out. When I come back I am going to have to seriously think what I want to do with my life as I cannot carry on as I am, it will drive me insane! I WILL BECOME FOCUSED AND NOT JUST DRIFT :A
I was listening to a song the other day and it had a great line in it, "It's better to be living than surviving." I just thought it was so appropriate to how I am feeling at the moment. Life is far too short to be miserable we are only here once so we should make it the very best we possibly can.LBM 14/12/06 £21,947.17 DEBT FREE 12/04/09
