Evening ladies Usual busy day here. Up at 6, hens fed, veg chopped and roasted for dinner. One load of washing hung outside, now finishing off over the airer. Paid stuff done, Mother’s Day cards bought, school run done, x15 different veg plants planted out and staked ahead of the wind tomorrow. Simple dinner cooked and eaten, DW on and fire lit. I intend to be in bed with my book nice and early xx 10

            Evening all.
Yesterday evening I sent a text message to Dizzy and heard back from her. She says she misses us, but things have been full on there, what with home schooling the boys, looking after the growing menagerie and dealing with another flood ("minor compared to last time"), and not much time for flying - she claims that she has convinced her body that it only needs 4 hours of sleep a night!!! She's only been able to see her mum once because of the lockdowns. I've send her some Flylady love from us all.
 A bitty day here today:
 - I got up early after very little sleep, so shattered from the start
 - DH had SW first thing and clinic later
 - our friendly plumber serviced our boiler serviced and unblocked the WM waste pipe - he didn't even moan when he had to come back because the boiler started dripping just after he'd left the first time
 - I paid the plumber
 - I wrote letters and cards (will post them tomorrow)
 - I tried to phone a couple of people on my list but got no reply
 - I did get through to the lawn care people, and the man came and gave me a very reasonable quote which I have accepted - I can't be bothered to shop around too much atm, and I've seen good results from his work elsewhere, and anyway it's less expensive than I'd budgeted for
 - zzz for about an hour this afternoon, because I had a migraine, but I was still tired when I took Rosie for her walk
 - I tried out a new recipe for Polish stuffed cabbage rolls (Golabki) which I'd seen on uuuutube, which I shall reheat for tomorrow's main meal. They were fun and easy to make, and quite MSE, and I'm sure you could replace the meat with mushrooms etc for a veggie or vegan version if that's your preference
 - I also made some Twinks, to keep my energy levels up!
 - and I have managed to make one of the outstanding phonecalls this evening.
A couple more emails need to be sent now, then I'm going to watch GBBO-SU2C and the DNA programme.
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round xx

            Hi all
Mumof you are making great progress just make sure you have a little time for yourself. Easier said than done I know.
Long day at the paid stuff, in fact 8.5 hours in the office which is probably the longest day I have done in my workplace since about November 2019!!
DS is shopping for home things ready to move out. He said the bed and mattress are not very nice and is going to buy his own. I am not sure what he is going to do with this bed if he moves back home again. While he is putting an Asd@ home order in I am going to splash out and treat myself to a new kitchen bin as the pedal hasn't worked on ours for ages. The excitement.
I am about done for today. Washing dried over the airer, it was cloudy here. Quick run around with the hoover after tea. Feeling quite calm tonight.14

Yikes Piggers, I think that's more than my car is worth.. 🥺pigpen said:Natty.. cars kill those bank accounts! Ours needed a full cooling system last year and was £1250.. thats more than a months wages! OH's mother helped thankfully. At least it is done and safe and good for another year xx
I'm glad she's done too..and to tell you the truth I would've paid any amount if it meant I get to keep her on the road. I love this car and it's such a lovely runner I think I'd find it hard to find another one like it. Also I wouldn't be able to pay full price..lol

Morning all, Wednesday already, how did that happen? Long day at work yesterday but I did manage to do the cats' trays, vacuum downstairs and briefly mop the living room when I got home. Today is update spending and saving spreadsheets, food shopping (either local village or click and collect), lesson planning and taking the cat back to the vet for his injections. The place is reasonably tidy. I need some breakfast now then I'll get going.

Up early, dog walk in the wind and rain. We gave up almost half way round when we cornered The Citadel and got a full blown gale in the face. Layla does not like rain, and in the face is out of the question, and frankly I'm not much better at it. She's off to the groomer this afternoon and she really needs it.I'm now finding it easier to sort out mini clutters as I find them, and the CS pile is spreading across the floor in one of the lettings room. I think I've added something to it every day for about three weeks. Very pleased with that. Dishwasher unloaded, dinner prepped, shopping list compiled, ready to rock here. However, I've reached a hiatus with the photographs. I need some new albums but I know exactly what I want and I'm not sure where I'm going to find them easily until the shops re-open (I'm not a fan of Amazon) so while I can re-sort the ones I've got ready for albums it's not really time well spent at this stage. So I'm transferring my decluttering focus on to the computer and as of today I'll be decluttering a minimum of 100 files on it, tomorrow 110 and so on. I've had this computer since 2013 and as I prefer Windows Vista to Windows 10 - which I loathe - I'm not letting it go any time soon but it is a bit way waaaaay more than a bit cluttered. I backed it all up about three years ago but I really don't need most of the files and I could reuse those flashdrives if I did a digital declutter and just kept the files I actually might need some time in the future. Fortunately it's all pretty clearly sorted into folders so it shouldn't be too hard to prune. And I'll carry on with the bits of paper because the filing cabinet must be nearly there by now which means I can then start getting stuff down from the attic. If I need it, it can stay and go in the filing cabinet, if not it can go once and for all.
 Better is good enough.10
