Thank you for the lists xx I’m late in again, what with school run, work, and somebody deciding that today was a really good day to start major roadworks that block up all the routes around small town. Obvious really - pick the day that the schools go back to start the work...
Late home, stir fry for dinner, wultd, clean towels folded and into the airing cupboard.
I think (inspired by a lovely flylady, of course) that I need to revisit my Toots list, as I have plans but then never seem to tick any of them off. I had an indoor one and an outdoor list, just need to remember where I jotted them down.
Am showered and in my pjs. It’s been a long day. Darn - just remembered that I need a meal plan for the week.I hope everyone who has been to school in whatever way has had a good day x12

            thanks for the lists.
I'm so angry I could cry. The expensive digital test I bought over the weekend has just been discounted by 20%. I know these things happen, but I even had a 'live chat' with the sales team last week and most specifically asked if - in the wake of the new assessment guidelines - there were any discounts imminent. Of course she said no. I know these things happen (new mantra). Anyway I have emailed them as notification that my new test was in my portal arrived literally this morning. I don't imagine they will do anything, but I felt marginally better for emailing.
OK and breathe. Today has been mainly various emails off my list, typed up a new style assessment schedule plus more work on the photobook. Fortunately after yesterday's help from Weekend Willi, the house flying can have a day off.
 Stomps off.
Hope your mouth is ok GI and I hope everyone's school went as planned.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.12

GI I had a wisdom tooth taken out at the dentist and it was far less horrible than I thought it would be. Hope it goes OK.
And HB after suffering for a long time DH found out one of his ribs was out of line. A bit of pummeling from the chiropractor and instant relief. As you say worth the money.
Round DS has some holidays to use so he is taking time off for Cheltenham so he can actually watch it on the telly. I think he was supposed to be at Southwell this week but his horse has been made a non-runner. He gets to travel all over which is one of the things he loves. And yes ASB he looked at a job in Middleham but where he is working now is a little bit closer to home, I agree its a beautiful part of the country though.
Pigpen hope school went OK for them all, I imagine there was some tired small people tonight.
A good day for me. Well except I said something in a meeting that came out all wrong and sounded like I was having a go at someone which I wasn't. Trying unsuccessfully to let it go. Yoga done, house is reasonably tidy, kitchen units and tiles wiped down and microwave cleaned. Trying to use the SC a bit more which actually really helps.

            Good evening
I survived the dentist - it took about half an hour. They packed my mouth full of gauze & sent me home, dribbling! Thank god for masks! 😂😷 I had to walk past everyone on their way back from the school run, nodding at people I know, praying they didn't want to stop & chat!! The mask was wet by the time I got home!!
I have sat with my feet up since. DH remade the bed, thankfully. Did a little of my tapestry - I might actually finish this one!! I have taken some paracetamol so hopefully I will sleep OK.
 Night night everyone!

YL.. tired.. Twinkle was EXHAUSTED and almost asleep by the time we got home from school.. Dot.. was not!!! She claimed she was too tired to put her pjs on then proceeded to piddle about for 3 hours after she went to bed. We got a super cute note form her teacher saying she had had a really good day and done good maths work which was really nice.

            Morning everyone.
Got back from work last night and went straight to bed.
Kids are ready for school. Ds2 is wearing trousers that are too small but refusing to change them... luckily his teacher will understand because I'm not fighting that battle this morning 🙄
No work today but I'm not going over board and Killing myself to try and do everything 🙃
Think I'm going to grab a box 📦 when I get home and fill it with all the !!!!!! downstairs that isn't where it should be and a bin bag for rubbish... and then I need to sort the laundry and wash up.
