Three bird roast.....any good deals?

We have thoroughly enjoyed the large goose three bird roast from Fordhall Farm two years running now.

It arrived, exactly when they said it would (despite last winter's weather), in eco friendly wool insulation packaging, which can be returned for a discount from the next order. Even the ice packs were not defrosted and the fresh meat was beautiful. We also ordered a treacle cured gammon the first year and, because there was none of that left the second year we had the Fordhall Old Spot: equally as good. It was all was absolutely delicious.

Ben Hollins is the young farmer at Fordhall. I'd be surprised if he has time to go on many sites other than their own.

Another benefit of using Fordhall is the knowledge that no animal endured a life of cruelty for our sustenance. All farming on Fordhall is natural with the beasts free to roam at will through fields and woodland. Shelter provided but they only use it if they so choose: no narrow stalls and locking up at night.:j

In fact, the whole ethos of Fordhall with the friendly and extremely helpful service, goes to make it a pleasure doing business with them...:A

I suggest anyone wanting to buy meat of any kind, at least checks out the Fordhall Farm site.

LOL! Have just read that script I submitted above.... It reads as though I am employed by Fordhall Farm.

I AM NOT! I live in central east Scotland and Fordhall Farm is in South Shropshire. I haven't even seen the farm nor met with any of the folks there but they have earned my respect.
