Sorry, not quite as first read it ..
‘failure to make payment or discuss repayment of this debt may result in us recommending to our client that we pass this matter to litigation dept. This may mean they will look to obtain a CCJ. The possible impacts of having a CCJ registered against you are....’

Sorry ..... I do not understand why you are being sucked in with such rubbish ??

So you've been intimidated by words you have imagined by not reading things very carefully (or carefully at all). There's a lesson there, because there's more intimidating stuff to come!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

What does she do if she gets court claim. does she have to attend court ?
QDR have to send you a 30 days response letter before any claim. A LETTER BEFORE CLAIM
    Then you come back here

QDR are not the smartest page in the book and CEL are less than smart

QDR dont litigate for CEl its done in house
YES, doubt that QDR understand that they are being used as a freebie public convenience

    SAD QDR ????

OP - of course iuf there is a court claim she would have to attend court
BTW your methods for dealing with her mail are terrible
Absolutely g'teed to result ina Failure to Furnish charge - 6 points and £500 fine - if you dont get a grip on opening her mail more frequently
If the police decide she needs to ID a driver, she gets 28 days to do so. With the months of delay you are engineering - which is all her fault, in trhe courts eyes - she will have committed an offence if they do so. She either changes the V5c, or you open her mail. No ifs or buts.

In fact you totally misled us.  In matters  such as this, where you may have to attend court, absolute accuracy is of supreme importance.

    One step at a time.

Court claims are beaten here, and it's not difficult to beat CEL and hearings are over the phone now.  No worries, no CCJ risk if she follows our advice.

But that won't happen because we are waiting first, for you to come back to us next week and tell us Starbucks Head Office have cancelled it, as they always do.

Is it an option to pay and claim back if Starbucks cancel ? My stupidity in not opening her mail doesn’t seem much of a defence in court
