failure to pay will result in them recommending CCJ.
Do they literally use those two words together in the letter?

How can they recommend a County Court Judgment?  Who are they going to recommend that to, as only a Judge can issue a County Court Judgment
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thank you so much for your advice. I think they pray on your fear of being left with a poor credit rating. Will contact Starbucks in the first instance
And they nearly got you ?
Do let Starbucks know that they should support paying customers.  It is vital that you report QDR to the SRA

HOW DO YOU GET A CCJ?
1: You have to go to court and lose .... very unlikely with QDR as they add fakes to their claims
2: If you did lose, the judge will order payment up to 30 days.
3: Pay as instructed and no CCJ

You can now see that QDR talk rubbish.  Scamming people is a report to the SRA

Make certain you keep on top of this. If a court claim is issued it must be responded by your daughter, not you, but with help from you and this forum.

YES they prey on people who they think are mugs ..... guess you are not a mug ?

One would think that as QDR are a spin off of Wright Hassall Solicitors, ..... WHS would not be so stupid to allow such rubbish to be sent out ?   ...... BUT THEY DO ??

QDR have to send you a 30 days response letter before any claim. A LETTER BEFORE CLAIM
    Then you come back here

QDR are not the smartest page in the book and CEL are less than smart

Sorry, not quite as first read it ..
‘failure to make payment or discuss repayment of this debt may result in us recommending to our client that we pass this matter to litigation dept. This may mean they will look to obtain a CCJ. The possible impacts of having a CCJ registered against you are....’
