ZZPS

My daughter received a parking fine for overstay at a coffee shop on shopping precinct. She no longer lives at home but V5 was not changed. I received letter but didn’t do anything with it and by time I saw her again due to pandemic her appeal date etc had passed. I read threads that said now missed no point in contacting. She now has threat of CCJ and panicking as will be looking for mortgage next year. Fine now £180. Can you advise as she wasn’t aware of it as doesn’t still live here and not on electoral role

    11) no she didnt. Its an invoice. The word fine never, ever appears anywhere
    2) what do you mean "threat of CCJ". BE PRECISE. Do not make up or use terms unless they are the exact term used on the document in front of you. Given this is ZZPS my guess is you have a simple DEBT COLLECTOR letter, and you woudl know this if you had read the newbies thread first
    3) Roll. So named because it was a literal roll of paper.

i get fed up of hearing people say "but i am looking for a mortgage soon" and they then pay up because of that.
Please get a grip.  Treat the letter with the contempt it deserves

    It is not a fine.
The fourth post of the NEWBIES sticky thread explains why it is safe to ignore debt collectors.
What is the name of the PPC please?
Has a complaint been made to the landowner or retail manager/CEO yet? That is always the best way to get a scamvoice cancelled.
Has the keeper updated their details with the DVLA yet? That can result in a real fine of £1000.
Either you need to open the keeper's mail for the next six years, or they need to tell the DPO of the scammers to erase her old data and update with her current address for service in order to avoid a court claim and possible default judgment in the next six years. This assumes the keeper's address is in England or Wales.

She was in temp accomodation at university and now in six month lease in shared house which is why she didnt change V5. I still live at this address but keep mail until she visits assuming it’s only statements etc. It says parking charge notice and from solicitor QDR acting for ZZPS/Civil Enforcement. States failure to pay will result in them recommending CCJ. Is it too late now to complain to landowner/Starbucks where she was doing assignment. It was months ago

That is just ZZPS rubbish, the idiots don't even own the debt and NOBODY, let alone these nutters can recommend a CCJ

QDR (A disgraced Wright Hassall Solicitor spin off.)   QDR can only act for CEL, ..... ZZPS are totally pointless and powerless ....... Such rubbish from QDR must be reported to the SRA as they are grossly misleading you.
And YES show this intimidating rubbish to the landlord and Starbucks. and show them what the vermin do with lies to their customers.  Request they cancel

Thank you so much for your advice. I think they pray on your fear of being left with a poor credit rating. Will contact Starbucks in the first instance

solicitor QDR acting for ZZPS/Civil Enforcement. States failure to pay will result in them recommending CCJ.

If those are their actual words used by QDR complain to the SRA.  That  would be misleading the public, conduct likely to bring their profession into disrepute .  If the DCA said it tell them to do one

    https://www.sra.org.uk/

They can recommend a CCC, a County Court Claim, but a CCJ, County Court Judgement,  can only be handed down by a judge.  Complain to your MP.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
