What happens tomorrow if they don't respond by today? At which point does the case get dismissed if they don't respond?
Why do you think tomorrow is significant? What you don't know is when the CCBC sent a copy of your Defence to the Claimant. It follows from that that it is not known when the Claimant has to respond to the CCBC.Further, we don't know what delays there are in the CCBC that means they don't send you a DQ as promptly as you might like. Can I suggest that you keep checking your MCOL Claim History and as soon as you see that the CCBC has sent a DQ to you, you are ready to download a DQ, complete it and fire it back to the CCBC, remembering to send a copy to the Claimant of course.2 -
Hey there. Just an update. My friend has received the DQ a few days ago. I told him how to fill it up using the instructions found on here and he's emailed it to the CCBAQ email that was used to send the defence. He has also copied the data protection officer of CeL in the email.1

Don't use the DPO email for CEL litigation paperwork.
Use a CEL 'litigation' email you can find posted here on other threads (you'll have to search as I don't know it).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

He's just confirmed to me that he's forwarded the email and attachment to office@ce-service.co.uk and Legal3@ce-service.co.uk. He said he didn't send it to the data protection email as they were already CCd in the first email.
Thanks guys.1 -
Hey guys. So just as an update. Court is September 20 or somewhere along those dates.
My friend just forwarded me the following images.

I don't see any landowner contract/agreement there. The 'map' of the car park with signage indicated seems to be little more than a blank sheet of paper with two or three numbers on it. Is that how it appears in the WS, or has it not reproduced well in your friend's scan? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Hi there. So yeah, I've reworded the post above so it's clear what each set of photos were. I tried to get the photos to show directly but it didn't seem to work.Umkomaas said:I don't see any landowner contract/agreement there. The 'map' of the car park with signage indicated seems to be little more than a blank sheet of paper with two or three numbers on it. Their "map" is exactly how they sent it. Not sure if it's not showing properly for you but when I click it I see the black lines and red shaded area as well as the letters showing where they claim the signs are.
I also added the landowner agreement. Must have missed it out when I was uploading to Imgur.1 -
The "Land Controller" "Confirmation of Authority" is dated 11 Feb 2019, over a year before the event, 13 Feb 2020. You might want to aver that CEL had no authority in 2020, and put them to strict proof that they did.The "map" is quite a work of art.2

The landowner agreement is not a contract. It may also be "after the fact" ... what was the alleged parking contravention date? (It's not obvious from the first page of posts in this thread).
That "map" looks like it's been drawn by a child ... it is utterly meaningless. 🙄 All it is is a rectangle with one side partially missing, a red coloured "L" shape (denoting what?), and some letters positioned on it. It gives no scale, gives no indication that it actually relates to the relevant car park, and provides no proof whatsoever that said signs even existed, nor what they showed.Jenni x3
