Thanks. Yeah it's unfortunate. Feel bad for him. Not sure it would have made any difference me being there to help him or not. It's possible he expected the actual information we helped him together to be enough to win, and although he knows the facts of the case I'm not sure he really argued the case studies firmly. I wrote him a statement summarising the information and the key points to mention but who knows how he actually read it out on the day and whether that put the judge off or not.Jenni_D said:Sorry to hear he fell foul of judge bingo.
£100 PCN + £25 filing fee + £25 hearing fee + £50 solicitors costs = £200 judgment.
Make sure he pays it within the ordered timescale to avoid a CCJ being registered.
He says he's just waiting for a letter from the court apparently.
But yeah, thanks again to everyone who has helped me help my friend in this thread as well as all the help I received in my own cases.

Haha yeah. Maybe he was exaggerating but he texted me right afterwards saying they brought three people in who had argued a lot of things he didn't fully understand. Said he felt way out of his depth even though he had our defence, witness statement and the written summary I wrote for him to read out.
Once again, thank you to everyone again. You have all been very helpful and your responses are greatly appreciated.2
