Finally managed to see a Populus live invitation before it was full, so £2 for about 7mins work, occasionally their surveys come up on Nectar, but I always rule myslef out becasue I know they pay better through their own site! I just wish they didn't have such a high cashout limit, it's taking me ages to get there :/

Chiglepig - have you tried ringing the hospital to see if they have any short notice cancellations?

I hadn't thought of that, @Poppycat, the consultant said 2-4 weeks, so I will ring them on Monday - I suppose I felt as I wasn't in pain, I would wait it out, but I can't start physio until it's done so I should make a bit of noise.

My Nectar offers are really good this week, all things that are already on the shopping list. I need to persuade Mr C that it not silly for both of us to go and to do separate baskets!
I've posted in more detail on FIREside, but I had a month that has been missing added to my pension yesterday - which made me very happy, it's been missing since 2016 :o
For the moment,OP-ing the mortgage is outdoing all my other investments :/ , so I'm maintaining the balance; at the end of the year I'm going to ask for a reduction in monthly payment if it's not applied automatically, but up the OP. I think most of my job is safe (for at least a year) but I like the idea that if the worst did happen to my job, the standard mortgage payment would be easily covered from MrChigle's pension, and our overpayment reserve (aka catastrophe fund), would go even further.

    Happy Friday everyone.

My nectar offers are mostly useless, I use my card when buying stuff for tasting sessions at school and then about three weeks later I get offers on those items but I've moved on by then and won't need those things again for another year.
