Morning all, welcome to March!
Up early today as it's my early but short shift... it's also bills day so I've done the budget before I started work, the bank gets such a hammering on 1st, it's depressing! PAD today was a combination of bills, mortgage, SPC and teensy bank round down.
I had my RPI increase notification from EE yesterday, I'm in contract for another 12 months but I think after that I will move to Tesco Mobile who don't increase prices mid-contract at all.
Won't be a NSD as we are out tonight to meet some friends for food and a few drinks, but we don't have any plans for the rest of the week so should get a couple in before the weekend.
Hope everyone has a good day, the sky is blue here so far, we will see how long it lasts!

Hello. I've been following your diary for a little while but had never properly checked your signature. Just wanted to say it looks like you have made amazing progress! Very inspiring and it shows chipping away does work!Debt free November 20222

Aww thank you so much! I'm really chuffed at how far I have come this time and I'm determined not to fall off the MSE wagon for a 3rd time. I do make sacrifices to clear my debt, which is why I've got my 'debt-free-wishlist' waiting for mid 2023 when I've made my last payment to CC7.sunshine_raincloud said:Hello. Goooood morning everyone. I'm feeling really positive today and I'm meeting a friend for lunch which will break my day up nicely.
I was out last night and used cash (!) so I have popped my change into my sealed pot this morning. I have also rounded the bank down to CC7, the statement isn't generated until 5th of the month but as this is a Saturday, it will likely be Monday before I pay the regular payment.
I have the honour of being this month's counter-upper for the PADding, which I always enjoy. It's so good to see everyone's progress and it really mounts up. Feb's total was over £7k!
Even though I am out for lunch, today will be a NSD as I have a gift voucher which will cover the cost. Always helpful
Hope everyone has a great day, despite the weather...

Morning! This week feels like it whizzing by, which is good, and we are almost at the weekend again

PAD made this morning to CC7, just a bank round down but a pound or 2 a day really adds up!I’m away this weekend, but it’ll still be a low/no spends as I am staying with family. It will be nice to spend time together, we still haven’t got back to pre-covid closeness yet. Maybe everyone’s fallen into new patterns and habits.
No updates on the credit scores, and no response from BT.
Bank accounts are still looking ok, not many more bills to come out. Think I’ll have a £10 to claim from airtime rewards later today, if so; that’s £10 off my phone bill so that can go into the SPC.
Hubby is getting quite excited about us being debt free now, he keeps mentioning just how much spare cash we will have as a household once we aren’t paying credit card bills. It’s so good that we are on the same page and I’m grateful that we are, it’s half the battle!
I hope everyone has a good day
LMD x

Nice little win for me this afternoon, I had been to my local Tesco a while ago when the Clubcard system was down so I couldn't collect points or get the clubcard offers...they told me to save my receipt as this could be added on my next visit.
I must have placed the receipt somewhere safe and then I couldn't find it. Anyhoo, I found it this morning so took it down to the local Tesco, claimed my points and got £2.50 refund from the offers. I'm sending that to the sealed pot

Happy Friyay everyone
Up early, already counted up PADs and made mine to CC7 and the SPC as my £10 airtime rewards cleared this morning.Today will be another NSD, I’ve placed my Christmas shopping on hold for now 😂😂
I managed to speak to Equifax yesterday about those BT searches… turns out they’re not mine but from when Hubby signed up to BT sport!! This is the first time we have been financially linked so it never even entered my head. At least I know it’s not fraud!Accounts aren’t looking too bad, only 3 weeks to payday though so I’m sure there will be some spare this month to add to the depleted EF.Feeling quite positive about the things I can control, terrified of the things I can’t though (war, Putin, Covid)
I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday
