I think given you do not need to worry until May and the BT fee is 3% which is not great I would leave it until the balance is lower and it is nearer to your deal expiry date. There does not  seem to be a massive shortage in deals at the moment.

  • Happy Christmas Jumper Friday! It's been a busy week for me work-wise so I'm just grabbing a cuppa whilst I can...

This week has been quite a mix of NSD's and spendy days. Wednesday night we had a date night and it was nice to go out for dinner, but other than that it's been a quiet week with cosy nights in and some crafting.

Been snapping my receipts and I'm almost at another £10 pay out from SnapMyEats, I've also just had £50 from Populous live hit my bank account which will just about cover my hair appointment this month, excellent timing!  Plodding on with the others which seem to take so much longer, but at the end of the day it's free money so I can't really complain.

I have decided to leave the balance transfer and not worry about it until May when I have to, worrying now seems to be wasted energy and in all honesty we have enough on with the day to day worries this pandemic is throwing at us.  I can't help but feel we are heading for another Christmas lockdown and that would just be awful. The impact the pandemic has had on our mental health will take quite some recovery time.

I've been able to add quite a bit to the sealed pot this week so that's growing nicely for next Christmas. It will be exciting to open it and count up on 27th October. Not using much cash now though with the new Covid variant so will probably not add much over the next month or so.

I had made a black Friday sales purchase which I have changed my mind about so I will also be returning that this weekend which will give me a £35 refund. I loved it but I don't need it, and therefore it's going back.  I will have Christmas gifts to be exited about in a few weeks so I can cope with sending it back :D

Hope everyone's had a good week.  Not long now til Santa comes... these are the times I wish we had kids so I could get all giddy with them.  My poor dog has to put up with me instead!

  • Nothing wrong with being a giddy adult at Christmas. Our poor dog has to put up with us as well :)
  • He's currently sat in his Christmas jumper as I made him join in!

  • Mine likes to follow the window cleaner too! It’s such a fun game 🤣

  • I wish my dog would tolerate a Christmas jumper 😢 we don’t have children and still have advent calendars and get a bit giddy, but there is something magical about children when they still believe 🎅🏻

Totally agree about the magic and I am thankful for my nephews and nieces. We have an advent calendar for the dog as we didn’t want him to feel left out :)

We saw an advent calendar for the dog in the supermarket yesterday! I never knew there was such a thing. We didn’t get that but did get her a stocking instead 🤣 She absolutely wouldn’t tolerate a Christmas jumper.

Nothing wrong with being excited for Christmas 🎄My daughter is ten this year so she’s hedging her bets about Santa (just in case the Switch doesn’t come!) but this is the last year I think I’ll get
