I will definitely be crying on 27th when I make that final payment! Thank you for being part of my journey :)

We had such a good evening and did out usual of chatting nonsense over a few glasses of wine and just enjoyed the company. It was great. I have to get ready to go to the comedy gig soon so I thought I would pop on and do my update.

I managed £15 cash out from Prolific this morning so that was sent to the card along with £6 budgeted PAD. It's not a NSD as I'm off out for the afternoon but should be moderate spends, I'm not going crazy!

That projected final payment is now down to just £85 which is incredible considering the difference has been made from mostly surveys and sales. I'm feeling very proud!

I hope you all have a great day!

It's the final stretch now. Well done 👏
  • Morning! indeed it is RS, just 11 days to go and I can't wait!

Not up to much today after a busy few days, will take the dog out later this morning, get some laundry through and then maybe do a bit more in the garden. A nice, easy breezy day for me with only myself to please :)

I sent £7 to the credit card this morning as my PAD, and it will be a NSD. I spent a fair bit yesterday including £16 on parking! Sheffield parking is expensive :(  I'm back there next weekend for another gig so I will see if hubby will pick me up instead and I will go in on the train. No wonder people shop at Meadowhall instead of the city centre...

Anyway, that's it from me. I will be checking Prolific sporadically as and when I can although I think Sundays tend to be quite quiet.  I hope everyone has lovely days ahead!

  • I have memories of Meadowhall as a child. My grandparents lived in Wakefield and I remember Meadowhall being one of the first big, out of town shopping centres and I used to love going there.

My plan exactly today is to keep an eye on Prolific, I'm finding they are taking longer and longer to pay these days as well.

I'm in Barnsley so very close to Meadowhall. Our town centre is undergoing some great transformations and the footfall is great! First 3 hours parking is free too on a Saturday. That's how you keep town and city centres alive :D

I do like Meadowhall for a mooch about though.

I hate Meadowhall and avoid it at all costs 🤣🤣🤣

Our local town centre has really cheap parking and they are looking to increase the free period from half an hour to two hours to encourage more people to shop in town.

I think that fairly priced parking is key for bringing folk back to the town centres. We currently have a bus fare cap of £2 which seems to be filling the buses, not sure when that's ending or if it's successful they might carry it on.  I was astounded yesterday, we were only parked for 4 hours!
