Morning everyone, I always get so confused on bank holidays... I keep thinking it's Sunday. Another nice day ahead for our walking challenge and I'm hoping to get some tidying done in the garden too.
It will be a NSD for me, last night's spends wasn't too bad as I was driving so the meal and a few glasses of pop cost £20. It was so nice to catch up and whilst we all say we need to do it more often, life inevitably gets in the way.
Today's PAD was £7 to CC7, which included £1 from WeAre8. Once my debts are clear these payments will be sent to charity rather than paid to me, they're small and infrequent but I think the WeAre8 collective can make a big difference to those in need. Nothing available on Prolific today.
An update on the diet... Since I started last week I have lost 9lb. I'm very pleased and just hope I can keep it up. It makes me very mindful of what I'm eating and buying. Healthy food is so much more expensive than unhealthy food!
Anyway, that's me for today. Hope you're all OK

Just catching up on your diary and I feel like I've blinked and you're under £300?! Wow! That debt free roll of honour is just around the corner...
I'm very excited for you and very proud of what you have achieved so far. You actually inspired me to start my own diary and the accountability it has given has definitely helped with my own debt free journey.
I hope your hand is all healed up and luckily your husband's nose is in tact. Is your 60 mile walk sponsored and if so how to people support your walk? There's a tandem sky dive for Bipolar UK to fundraise for them that I fantasised about participating in lol.

It’s all very exciting now I’m almost at the finish line. I’m glad I managed to persuade you to start your diary, I’m a big fan of how accountable it made me.
The walk is sponsored and I have an online page on my socials.
My hand is healed now, except for a bruise under my thumb nail but a bit of polish will sort that out

Happy Easter to those who are celebrating and eating lots of chocolate.
It will be a spendy day today as we are out for lunch and a few drinks this afternoon, shouldn’t be too bad though and I’ve had lots of NSDs lately so I don’t feel guilty.
My PAD today was £6 to the credit card. There’s £13 pending on Prolific and I’ve done some follow up studies via a message link but I don’t know how much they are now, or when they’ll be paid. I lose track, think it’s my age!
Not long now, 2 weeks on Thursday 😊 I’m so egg-cited! 🐣

Can't believe how your debt is going down so quickly. Can't wait till ours disappear. Good luck with your walk, I did the Walk All Over Cancer walk last month, but found it so hard to get people to sponsor/donate. Nobody seems to care these days. I only raised £55, compared to about 5 years ago when I did the Dementia walk and raised almost £300. Hope you do well. xMaking the debt go down and savings go up

I'll send you a message for your socials so that I can sponsor you LMD. It's a shame that the cost of living impacted your fundraising efforts @Makingabobor2

And I definitely agree that you've more than earned some guilt free spendy days and you're on the home stretch, and so enjoy your time today. xx

Morning everyone (just) today isn’t a NSD as we have been to the garden centre to pick up some plants and will be doing some work in the garden later.I’ve sent £6 to CC7 as my PAD, still nothing extra available at the moment. I’m still confused about what day of the week it is and I’m certain that will continue for the working week 😂
Hope you’re all having a great long weekend
