A weekend update from me, it was payday yesterday do CC1 and CC6 payments made. Well under the £16k mark now
this month will be a spendy month so I can’t pay as much in overpayments. But I will keep chipping away at it.
No house news. That’s all I’m saying about that.Have a lovely weekend

Been wide awake since 5am and now I’m starting to flag a bit, so I’m taking a break from work with a cuppa and a biscuit and catching up on here.My last PAD to CC1 takes the balance for that card below the £1k mark, this is very encouraging indeed. The PADs will continue to go to that card until it’s clear and then I’ll make them to CC2 instead. The others are 0% for now so I can worry about them later. My fixed rate energy tariff has ended and we are now on the variable rates… very irksome as I like to be in a low rate fixed but I figured there was no point in taking a new deal and then moving house. At least I am in credit, and it’s summertime so usage is low!
Still no update on the house move. We are trying not to stress about it as it’s not within our control. We have done all we can to get things back quickly and the delay isn’t on our side so what else can we do? We will just make sure we are ready to go when we get the green light.I’m trying to spend a bit more ‘me’ time to relax and do some self care. I have a lot of skincare products that I’m making use of so I’m not spending money in the process.Better get back to work. My tea is cold and my biscuit is a distant memory already!LMD xLife gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £4931 | EF £669/£1000 | Sabbatical £3026/£3000 | Travel savings £1791 | Sinking pots £19612 -
Very quick update to say that I've just had a call from the solicitor and we can go ahead as all the paperwork is now sorted out. All parties in the chain just need to agree a date now so hopefully we will get a date in the next day or so.
Fingers crossed!

Hi all.
Our solicitors have confirmed this afternoon that we move next Friday - I am really excited but I know I have a load of work to do to get ready. I really don't know what to expect as it's been so long since we moved house. I just hope it all goes smoothly.
Debt wise, I have still been PADding daily and it's good to see the CC1 balance creeping down. I have a feeling this will be an expensive month but I am determined not to spend on the credit cards. PADs will therefore will be small, but across the month it always adds up
Keep smiling everyone and enjoy the weekend. I will check in on Monday with an update on my sanity levels!
