Awake early and can't get back to sleep for some reason so just balanced by accounts and updated my spreadsheet (probably making me more awake)
No plans today, so pottering around the house and general cleaning, sorting and tidying. I need to get a few loads of laundry done too. Won't be a NSD as I need to pop to the supermarket for a few bits that weren't on the list on Saturday.
Given the lack of sleep last night/this morning I may need to factor in an afternoon snooze at some point, perhaps between dog walks!
PAD made this morning taking CC6 to almost £50. Hopefully the PAD's will clear that this month and I can start chipping away at CC4 as the 0% on that one ends in June 2022...

Pinch, punch - first of the month...and all the usual payments have been taken so my bank account is weeping.
It does mean that I will need to be more careful with spending for the next 26 days, especially if I want to make big enough PADs to clear that pesky CC6.
As much as I love (and REALLY LOVE) our new house, I'm not so keen on the bigger mortgage paymentsIt's a gain in the long term though. Once my debt has cleared I will be overpaying on the mortgage so at least that will help.
Hope everyone's well? I have had to pop the heating on, the start of September has brought some chilly weather already and I refuse to be cold, even though it's supposed to make you more productive.

More PADding this month has been chipping away at CC6, I'm hoping that by the time it gets to pay day that's already been cleared.
I'm definitely feeling a lack of funds in the accounts this month, but the change in the weather makes me not want to venture out so that's not so bad. Evenings spent sorting through house stuff, cleaning and then cozying on the sofa with a brew and a biccie will keep spending in check.
We have booked the holiday in anticipation that there will be no major changes to the restrictions and that's been paid for. We are both fully vaccinated so I think we have less to do, a bit more research will be needed but I'm willing to do what it takes to get a break... There are some bits we need to pay for pre-holiday (hire car and airport parking) so that will come out of the EF once we have decided on which options to take. We are long overdue a break and I honestly cannot wait to be able to fully relax in the sunshine by a pool with a cocktail or 2.
Until then though; life will continue as normal, with stress, general adult-ing and rubbish weather.
Still waiting for CC4 and CC7 statements to be generated, but overall now I think I am down to about 24% of credit utilisation which is the best it's been for years! Credit scores are all over the place still, too many accounts opened from the house move, some say I'm not on the electoral register (I am) and of course there's a 2 month delay on updated CC balances. I anticipate it won't have settled down until Christmas or maybe early 2022.
Of course, Christmas will be the next big spend after holiday. It's a never ending cycle!
